Getting into the portal continues 2

Not only she needs to get to her friends, but to her wedding too.

"Kid, by now you must already have the crystal globe?" Liz held her arms.

"Yes, but care to explain what am I guarding, what is an Anunnaki, and what are you?"

She was holding back her confusion earlier because of the strong disagreement between the two ladies.

"Okay, this is not the correct place for us to discuss this, and I believe you have to go back to your friends. Come to the stone garden later tonight."

She said grab her harp and walk away, but turned back suddenly remembering something.

"And never attempt to influence this kid or you know what I can do to this Island!"

Liz's irises turned dark as the abyss.

"Hah! you can threaten anyone but me."

Helen said, though obviously shaken.

"I know you don't enjoy risking anything that's why you sacrificed me."

Liz's tone has a strong hint of blame in it. Then she finally disappeared in one of the hanging wisterias.

More questions have sprung up on her head.

"Hey," Helen called her.

She ignored her and walked across the lane of the wisteria forest.

"Kid, whatever that woman tell's you, be cautious okay? She's not her right state of mind."

She's not listening to Helen.

"I know what I need Helen, but I want to hear from you is who are you and why are you pestering me?"

Not looking back she walks back and called Alex for a lift. She was this close at getting back in Novalia but Fate is not allowing her.

"Like what she has said I'm the guardian but I'm not what she said a weak one, this place has multiple portals okay?"

She explains who she is, but she didn't elaborate. For the love of the cove, does she need to egg this woman?

"Okay so I know you guard the portals, but what are you guarding it against? And what happen to the musician? Looks like you have history together."

From the looks of it, Liz blames Helen for something, and the hatred is so deep.

"It's a long story, you don 't have much time you will need to seal this portal for good because Hasher Raven will soon find it out."

Isabel's ear twitch hearing what she said, right, she's a guardian of the portals that means she knows where the portal is.

"Right! so do you know where the portal to Novalia is?"

She stop and looked back at the lady.

"Of course! Not. I'm the guardian but I'm not a GPS okay? plus I did not learn how to read, it's just too Yehovian thing to do"

She said sighing, and her appearance is someone that didn't have a choice.

"So what do you need from me? Why do you stick around all day?"

When Sonia arrived with the cart, Helen's expression changed, it was like it saved her.

"I'm not coming over to Cindy's, I have to take my dogs for a walk."

She said waving to Isabel.

"No, bring your ass right here!"

She demanded but Helen quickly turned around and walked away.

"No, Helen! Come back."

But she didn't hear her, her nostrils became bigger she didn't have a choice but go back to her friend's house. She forgot to bring anything and will have to apologize to her friends.

In Cindy's house.

"Ugh Isa!" Amy looks so disappointed, but she saw disbelief in Cindy's eyes. Cindy is an intuitive person, and maybe because of her condition that made her feel what she feels.

She will tell her soon when they're alone.

To appease Amy's disappointment she has to call Alex and bring them a meal.

The rest of the day is happy, and they bonded together.

"By the way, what happened to Helen?"

She is playing a mobile game on Cindy's phone.

"She said she has to walk her dogs and can't come."

Which is the truth, but the girls didn't believe her.

"What did you tell her?"

Amy narrowed her eyes. She seems to like Helen the most.

"Nothing! that's the truth, you can ask her later when you see her."

They had fun together, talking about movies, books, funny things happened in their lives and even boys they have a crush on and rejections.

She haven't notice that's evening, and she has to go to the stone garden to meet Liz.

Cindy's house is few meters away from the Garden so she has to wait for Amy to go away before she can proceed with her plan.

"Amy, don't we have a session tomorrow at the media?" Cindy asked because she also wants Cindy to go so she can talk to Isabel.

"Yes, yes! I will have to make an appointment for you two, so I will need to go ahead."

"Aww, Ame's thanks so much for caring for us." Cindy hugged Amy tightly.

"You're my friends! How can I not care for you?" She patted Cindy back, now Isabel felt obliged to join the hug party.

Amy didn't really have a plan to go home but with the constant goodbye's of the two, she finally went away.

"Now, don't you dare skip a bit, or I'll beat your ass?"

Cindy Crosses her arms and made a tapping sound of her foot on the floor.

"Are you possessed by Lady Tremain?"

Her expression is no less than Cinderella's stepmother. Isabel laughed at her friend's expression.

"Okay, promise to listen and don't make judgement okay?"

Amy also is suspicious but the fact that she worked with the Ravens and grew up here can affect her loyalty as a friend to her.

So she started telling Cindy the first time she came to Novalia how she met Hash and how she stayed there during the time she is missing in Raven's Cove. She didn't tell her about Helen and Liz yet and what she has discovered in the Raven's palace.

"So if this Island has supernatural ability, there's a possibility that the Ravens knew this."

Cindy figured this out on her own.

"I think so to. That's why we need to be careful of what we know with Amy, even if she's our friend too."

She warned her friend, they never know what the facility is planning.

"I'm wondering what possibilities that Novalia has the same effect like this Island does?"

Isabel didn't think of it, but that's true. If Raven's Cove has this supernatural ability. There might have been a similar effect or more in Novalia.

"Cinds, I have to meet someone that can help me get through but I have to hurry, I will tell you the rest when I come back."

She stood up and rushes to the door.

"What? what if you can't find your way back?"

Cindy is looking worried stopped her.

"I'll be fine, I always comeback my stay there always has a duration."

That's just based on her observation, but she's not really sure what causes it.
