Eighty- six. She's expecting.

Less than what seemed like an hour, Kim brought the black Rolls Royce phantom to a gentle halt in front of the Alpha gardens. Immediately, he alighted and rushed towards the passenger's side, pulling open the car door open, for his Boss.

Ezekiel who still had Monalissa in his arms, stepped out of the car, as gently as he could, trying his best not to hurt the woman in his arms. She hadn't opened her eyes yet, and this was starting to nerve Ezekiel. He carried her up to his room, laying her gently down on the bed.

Daya had just come out of the storage room and was on her way to her quarters when he sighted Ezekiel. He had alighted the car with a woman with his arms. Startled as she was, the cleaning items in her hand, came crashing on the floor, attracting the attention of Kim. He caught her abnormal stare, his eyes squinting to a slice.

Daya's eyesight wasn't bad at all, though she was at a distance. She was still able to recognize the woman as the one who had come earlier today. Monalissa Walls. What happened to her? How come the Boss was bringing her back? Did Elijah release her?

Daya hurriedly picked up the fallen items, avoiding eye contact with Kim. Her movements were frantic and disorderly. She heard the rumbling sound of the car's engine and looked behind her. Kim was already driving away from there. She heaved a deep sigh of relief. "Finally, he's gone", she muttered. After she was done picking up the items, she stood to go.

Holy freaking cow!

Daya screamed in her mind. She could hear sparks go off in her head alongside her heartbeat that was beating wildly. She didn't know how or when but, Kim was standing right in front of her. Sh thought...he was gone. What was he doing here?!

"Hey", Kim said, "look up", he commanded.

Daya clenched the moping bucket tightly in her hands, fighting to keep her composure.

"I said, look up!", Kim ordered in a raised voice. This startled Daya and she immediately raised her head up in fright.

"S...s...sir", she stuttered, her eyes widened in horror. Kim was the personal assistant of their master, thus his aura was no joke. She couldn't stand in his presence. She didn't know if it was his air or maybe the crime she committed but she needed a place to hide herself. Right this instant!

"Is there a problem?", Kim asked, his eyes almost boring holes into her forehead.

"N...n...none sir", she answered, lowering her gaze.

"Do you have anything to say to the Boss?", he asked.

"None. Nothing at all", Daya replied. "I have to go and continue the chores", she excused herself and ran off.

Kim squinted his eyes at her direction, his mind not believing her words. There was something odd about her.

The doctor arrived at the gardens, and was led to Ezekiel's room. Monalissa was lying on the bed, her eyes still shut. Ezekiel was seated beside her, his hands holding hers with a grim expression.

"Mr Don", the doctor called him.

Ezekiel raised his head up to look at the doctor. "Doctor Maya", he called her.

"Yes Mr Don", the female doctor replied.

"She fainted. Again. Could you please check her for me?", he requested.

Doctor Maya was surprised at the way Ezekiel was speaking to her. She looked at the young woman who lay motionless on the bed. 'This woman...what kind of power does she hold on this man? How could she affect him this way?'

Collecting herself, she went over to check up on Monalissa. Ezekiel made way so that the check up could commence.

Doctor Maya began displaying her professional skills. She checked Monalissa's vitals, her hormonal balance and whatnot.

At some point, she paused, looked at the patient and continued what she was doing. She administered her with an IV drip to give her strength when she wakes up. When she was done, she looked at Ezekiel.

"Mr Don", she called him.

"Is there a problem?", he asked.

"No. None at all Mr Don", she said. "She's just going through that same stress I mentioned the last time I was here", she pointed out. "She has a very strong amnesia and her series of fainting shows that, her locked up memories are being triggered", she added.

"When", the doctor continued, "was the last time she fainted?", the doctor asked.

Ezekiel furrowed his brows. The last time was at Alpha Realm...

"At my organization", he said.

"Did you happen to show her something or say something that might have triggered her memory? She might have had severe headache which causes her to faint".

Ezekiel quickly did a mental search, trying to remember what he had said or did that made her faint then.

"Lakewoods...", he blurted. Right! That was it! The moment Kim mentioned Lakewoods that day, he felt her body go still and then she passed out.

"What?", Doctor Maya asked.

"Lakewoods. That was the word mentioned at that time", Ezekiel explained.

Doctor Maya nodded. "Then she has something to do with anything or someone from a Lakewoods source. This will be a very tough period for Miss Walls", she concluded.

Ezekiel nodded. It really would.

"Anything else doctor?", he asked.

Doctor Maya looked at him for a while. "Mr Don, you see, it would be great if someone related to Miss Walls is available at the moment. The next news is quite delicate", she said. "Like a guardian or something".

"What news is that?", Ezekiel asked with knitted brows. His heart increased its beat when Doctor Maya mentioned 'delicate'. Was she dying? Was she sick?

"It's not problematic at all but, I would like to have a good discussion with her family", she said.

"She... Her family's not here. Not yet", Ezekiel said. "You could tell me. I'm her master and guardian as well", he added.

Doctor Maya looked at him... "You see, Miss Walls... Miss Walls is expecting. She's going to be a mother soon", she said.

"What?", Ezekiel asked not knowing how to react.

"Mr Don, I mean, Miss Walls is pregnant", she explained.
