I was tied in chains? I didn't know where I was.

"Nova, wake up" I heard a voice echo all over the place.

I slowly opened my eyes to see myself on Aaron's back.

"Huh, what are you doing you here?" I spoke.

"Saving Your life" Aaron replied as he was walking out of the forest.

"Let me down. I can walk" I replied as I jumped off his back.

"huuuuuu, damn that shit hurt" I spoke but I was surprised to see all my wounds were already healed.

'I guess my soul emanation is a lot more than normal' I thought to myself as was staring at my body.

"Right, I'll explain everything" I spoke breaking the silence.

"You don't need to. You probably have your reasons but I already know so don't worry" Aaron replied to me as he looked at me.

"Oh ok. By the way, how could I never sense any soul emanation from you before" I asked him while I looked into the distance to see how far we were from the city.

"You probably didn't pay attention" He replied to which I nodded. Well, I couldn't use it a few weeks ago.

"We got to get Annie now" Aaron spoke again so we both ran towards the bus stop.

After we got there, I couldn't see her there.

"She's not there" I exclaimed as I got a bit paranoid.

"No, she's fine. She's inside an invisible veil and a barrier. I'll go bring her" He replied to me calmly. I nodded my head as I saw him walk towards the bus stop.

"Wait, how did you put up an invisible veil? Even I can't do that shit" I exclaimed as he just ignored me.

"Ok that's rude" I spoke to myself as I saw him disappear.

After he woke Annie up and appeared again I walked over to them.

"Can you guys come with me to my house?" I asked both of them.

"Why, I thought we were going to the mall" Annie spoke

"We'll come" Aaron replied as he stared at Annie.

"Ok let's go. we need to talk to Rowan" I replied to Aaron as I looked at Annie.

"What are you looking at me for" She exclaimed at me so I just turned around.

"Let's go. Whoever's last will have 10000 years of bad luck" I replied and started to run.

I was the last one to make it.

"I just let you guys win" I exclaimed while taking big gasps of air.

"Yeah, sure. Your so believable Nova" Annie replied to me.

"Come in guys," I asked them as I went in the house.

"Ok," Aaron replied as he removed his shoes and told Annie to remove them too.

"Hey, Rowan. Come downstairs I want to talk" I screamed at Aaron. He was probably in his room.

"What do you want" He exclaimed at me.

"Aaron and Annie are here. Just come down" I replied and I went to wash my legs, hands and face to freshen myself up.

"Ok, I'll be there" He exclaimed again and headed downstairs.

After everyone was downstairs I looked at Rowan.

"Both of them possess soul emanation" I broke the silence first.

"I can sense that. It's more immense that yours" He replied to me. I was surprised because I thought it was faint.

"Well, I fought a Warlord-level crier and beat him" I exclaimed as I looked at my palm.

"ohhhhh, nice. Did you win easily or did you have a hard time" Rowan replied to me as he stared at Aaron?

"Aaron and Annie, do you want to train and become Nexus guards?" Rowan spoke again.

"What training. Did I miss something?" Annie spoke as she looked very confused.

Rowan walked over to Annie and put his hand over her face.

"Hey, what are you doin-" Before Annie could say anything, a blue light glowed out of Rowan's hand.

"Looks like there is a memory blocker put up by my teacher" He spoke as he put his hand back.

"Teacher? That was your teacher?" Aaron replied to Rowan as his facial complexion changed.

"You met him? that's better" He spoke as he took his hand and put it on Annie's head.

"I'll remove the blocker so it's better. You guys can continue again" He replied as he did something.

"What are you talking about? Who's this teacher" I spoke as I looked at Aaron and Rowan with a confused faces.

"Done" Rowan exclaimed as he went back to his seat and sat down.

"Everything clear now?" He asked Annie.

"Yeah, I understand now" She spoke. She was a brilliant person too. The twins were probably blessed or something.

"Anyway, I had a hard time fighting the crier" I spoke and looked at Rowan.

"Well, I outsmarted it at the end and was able to defeat it. I copied your move. Well, I tried to but I can only use it as a Trump card" I told Rowan.

"I couldn't control my soul emanation, so I used all of it. A huge calibre attack it was" I spoke and explained everything that happened.

After I explained everything that had happened Rowan got up and walked up to Aaron.

"You have great potential you know" He spoke out of nowhere.

"Wait, what about me" Annie spoke. She looked like she was jealous.

"Na, yo ahh trash bi" Rowan replied.

"I'm kidding. You can become a really strong Guard too" He spoke again.

"Aye bruh, I protected the-" I spoke but they all stared at so I just shut up.

"You guys can become guards if you guys want to work for it" Rowan spoke as he walked towards me.

"Shut up" He exclaimed as flicked his finger on my head.

'Ow, that hurt' I spoke to myself as I stared at Rowan.

"Nova you're weak. Without a master you won't get anywhere" He spoke.

"Ok, You guys ready?" He spoke as he turned towards the main door.

"Ready for what," I asked as I got up too.

"Ready to meet him"
