Chapter 36: NOTHING BUT HUNGER

What was going through the heavens?

That they can't do nothing but save?

These zombies sure are effective,

They and the demons, made humans slaves.

But what goes through-the walking corpse's mind?

Why do they want, no human left behind?

Casper, once had a brimming future,

Good life, good family, he was smart,

and pretty happy,

But eversince he got bitten,

He turned into nothing but hunger and melancholy.

He cannot see much.

He cannot feel much.

He can only see a blinding light when morning,

And an overwhelming pitch of black at night.

All he could think of, was to feed himself,

Trailing behind other zombies,

Desperately finding someone to gnaw.

He was aware.

He was aware of how he had become.

He was aware from the very first time the zombie bit him.

He tried to cut his hand,

But his brain won't give the command,

He was way too afraid,

Fearing it won't be enough to save...

It would have been useless anyways,

Liquid circulates quickly through blood.

He cried desperately, shutting the door between him and the monsters,

As he shouts, blaming God, for every chaos he sees.

He's starting to act different.

He cannot stop.

He tried once and he can't.

Sometimes, when he was walking,

He'd wish that a brave human would stop him.

He wanted to rest,

To die.

But so long as his head is alive,

He'd be trapped here.

In his own body he now sees as prison.

Where hunger is eternal,

And leaves the once so brimming boy,

Nothing but a feral.

Every one of them,

They were all aware,

But they cannot speak up,

For they were all nothing but helpless pawns to him,

Something who'd help Lucifer...carry out his plan so grim.

As long as they are not killed,

They will walk,

Find food, to shut their unbearable hunger,

Cause havoc, sadness and danger.

Knowing they won't have a chance to explain themselves,

To say they were victims too.
