Chapter 37 - Trapped

As the war was taking place in Megálo Vasíleio, Sarah was unaware of the attack and was relaxing with her summons, an angel and a demon. She had named the angel "Emily" and the demon "Eric". As she was in her room in the palace of Wellington, she heard a knock. Eric opened the door to see a guard, he led Sarah and her summons to a carriage in which the king of Wellington was waiting for them.

As they entered the carriage, the king gave the rider a sign which indicated that he should start moving. In front of Sarah where some snacks, she helped herself to them. Her smile was evidence that the snacks were delicious. The king was deep in thought that he and Sarah did not have a conversation.

After a long silence the carriage stopped and the king stepped down from it. Sarah followed and came down only to see the king holding an orb. She was about to ask him what it could do but the king threw it at her. The orb immediately opened itself and ate Sarah. Eric rushed up to the king holding him on his neck.

"It was the work of the Shadow Monarch. He told me to do it or he would kill me", the king said.

Immediately Eric disappeared leaving only Emily with the king. Emily healed the king from his pains and she wondered where Sarah was.
