Chapter 32 - Barrier Down

Merlin was fighting a wanderer who was later introduced as George. George was trying to land very deadly blows at Merlin as she was the source of the barrier around the nation. His attacks were easily read by Merlin as she easily dodged with just the movement of her hands. This made George to be more aggressive with his attacks, but Merlin could still dodge the attacks with ease.

As for Tasha, her fight with the wanderer later introduced as Tom was stressful as she was on the offensive. Tasha's offensive skills were centered on the opponent's blood but Tom made it hard for her as he used [Future Sight] to dodge all her attacks. Tasha was an open book for him as she lacked war experience. Even though she had power, without experience her power was useless. Tom could tell she was getting weaker as her breathing increased and was faster than normal. With that opportunity, he attacked her with great speed and precision using [Death Slash]. He managed to cut off her head, leaving her decapitated. The villagers, who were watching the fight unfold, ran as Tasha seemed to have lost. Alana's opponent was easily brought down as she used [Breakdown] on him.

Merlin was in a tough battle against George until he revealed his true intent. Merlin collapsed and spat blood as she realised an Ancient Elf Curse was casted on her. He revealed that he was using [Binding] to cast the curse on her. His smile showed cold intents as he pierced his sword through Merlin's head. As soon as Merlin died, the Barrier fell.
