The place looked bigger than I thought inside.
The roads were wide, and many people were walking around casually. It felt like going back to the 1800s, with the old Japanese house design, lanterns, and banners everywhere. The night sky made everything even more magical.
Many people were dressed in kimonos and old-fashioned clothes, similar to what I often see in wuxia manwa. Wanting to fit in, I also wore a simple grey kimono, which made a casual impression.
Everywhere I looked, there were intricate details that transported me to another time and place.
The aroma of traditional Japanese cuisine wafted through the air, tempting me to sample the local delicacies.
My inner otaku urged me to try and enjoy some of the atmosphere here.
