Better than Leveling Up?

"It's shining!" everyone exclaimed as the Phoenix statue finally reacted, its surface now glowing brightly. 

This was a big deal—it meant the statue had accepted Yuki as the new clan leader.

'They're really easy to fool,' I chuckled to myself. 

I had already spoken to the Phoenix statue and convinced her to make Yuki the new clan leader.

It wasn't much of a big deal for her, actually. In fact, she would usually light up if she was in the mood. 

Of course, she did gain something from me after she went along with my plan: a promise. 

I told her that I would find a way to release her if she promised to be my loyal slave. 

I mean, if someone could help her, it would be me. After all, I have the almighty system, so I'll keep getting stronger in the future. 

As expected, she eagerly agreed. Given her current condition, being a pet would be a million times better than being trapped in this place.
