Making red sparks fly

Juju personally escorted them to the door, and promised to get in touch the next time she had something fun in mind. She thanked Vice for the drugs, and told him she'd transfer him the funds that same night.

The three of them walked towards the car in silence.

Ivo slipped into the backseat with a sigh, and bumped his head against the headrest. "Well, that was a lot."

Vice chuckled and took the car out of park. "Didn't look like it. You held your own. That was smart."

On the passenger seat, Davi just hummed.

Ivo tried to meet his eyes through the rearview mirror, but Davi's gaze remained trained on the window. After some time, Ivo gave up and looked out his own window as well, letting the neon scenery pass him by, lulled by the faint hum of the car's electric motor.

Vice left them on the same neighbourhood he picked them up at. "Really? Can't you drive us home now?"
