The military began employing these so-called zombies in the UN's outlying regions in the early 1990s. Overnight, a secret infiltration team transporting a specially made cage makes its way to the nearest rural village.

Afterwards, they leave the cage someplace in town and program it to open at a predetermined time using a timed lock. When the townspeople wake up in the morning, they are welcomed by death.

Within a week, the UN government receives a deluge of requests for assistance. When they looked into it, they discovered that most of the towns on the border of their respective regions were now filled with dead bodies and zombies, which prompted them to launch an investigation.

They were also able to determine the cause of the problem. And, through the International Court of Justice, the west was called out for its acts.

The zombie plaque, on the other hand, is currently spreading like wildfire. It has already reached the few large cities within the UN and has rendered them unable to wage war on the other side of the border.

In a sense, the West was successful in achieving triumph, but they were unaware of the consequences, which will have a lasting impact on the entire planet.

The zombies had reached the capital of UN, and the entire planet stood by in horror as billions of zombies overran the last lines of defense left standing.

It just took a few more days for the entire continent under the hands of UN to become completely contaminated.

Then a report came in that an occurrence had occurred within the AC zone that had features that were comparable to those of the zombies in the eastern United States.

The first sign that the apocalypse was impending came when even the combined forces of the western world were unable to stop the spread of the undead.

Despite the fact that the region held by the east is larger than the territory controlled by the west, their technological level is far greater. Even though it took a little longer for the west to be entirely overrun, the sheer quantity of zombies eventually wore them down to the point where their last line of defense was no longer effective.

During their final days on the battlefield, the AC soldiers discovered that the zombie outbreak had spread throughout the planet. A tactical nuclear strike against some of the world's most densely populated zombie-infested places was one of the last steps their government performed before the zombie outbreak began.

When Drake informed him of the existence of different nations on this planet, he discovered that, aside from the threat posed by the residual human population, zombies are the least strange and the least dangerous of the new species he could encounter.

He discovered the existence of altered humans. Monsters straight out of the pages of a fantastic novel. Project Genesis has produced human products as a result of gene splicing. Giants, goblins, and orcs are only a few of the monsters that exist. Unfortunately, one of these side experiments became infected and was able to escape the confines of the labs.

There are also mutated animals, who were formerly normal pets, zoo animals, or possibly wild animals that were bitten by the zombies and have been mutated.

He learned of the 15-foot zombie gorilla that went on a rampage and destroyed 20 shelters before a slew of mercenary organizations came together and successfully hunted the beast down and killed it.

He was informed that there are certain locations that are now well recognized as mutant territory.

They discussed the well-known human encampments as well as the locations of the current military strongholds in the area.

There are three noteworthy groups in the area where Will is now located that he should be aware of.

This territory is controlled by the Dire Wolves, a slaver organization that operates in this area. The boss is a former member of a criminal gang who now runs his own business. When the world fell to shit and law and order was thrown down the toilet, their old activity of drugging and raping women in secret was transformed into a profitable business.

The Pioneers: Yes, they are the Pioneers, and don't be misled by their name. After the catastrophe, one of the remaining leaders of the famous international crime organization was able to restructure and establish a paramilitary organization under his command. The Pioneers are now considered to be one of the most powerful human forces in this region. They are ruthless and unforgiving, yet they have the most solid of foundations on which to stand.

The final type of group is a religious organization.

The Church: The leader, who was formerly a car salesman, is now a pastor as a result of the catastrophe that has occurred. They are devout followers of the sun. They are the most numerous of the three groups discussed here. Their main base is a little village in the north of the country. They were able to keep it safe by erecting a 15-foot wall around their entire domain. They also transformed a massive football stadium into a cathedral. Once a year, their members from various camps get together to make a pilgrimage to the site. According to rumors, they host epic orgy parties there.

The Dire Wolves and the Church are currently engaged in a little conflict. In recent weeks, it appears that the Dire wolves have been ravaging the Church's lands and enslaving its members.

The Pioneers are currently engaged in a battle against a group of mutants that has taken up residence in their territory. A mutant human was responsible for the death of the youngest daughter of the Pioneers' boss a few years ago. Since then, the Foot, a group of Pioneers warriors, has been infiltrating the mutants' territory and hunting them out, according to legend.

Will's location is a good distance away from the three human groups that he has encountered. He seems to be somewhere in the middle between the Pioneers and the Dire Wolves' spheres of influence, almost on the outskirts of theirs. To be more specific about this, the slave girl (Alice) was intended to be a gift from the Dire wolves commander to one of the Pioneers' mini-bosses in the southern United States of America.

Will discovered that his home is in fact close to a forest where a probable mutant animal may be hiding out. Before the catastrophe, the green grove forest, which is around 60 kilometers due west, is a veritable zoo. Although his home is legally within the slavers' jurisdiction, they are reluctant to travel into this area because of the threat of intermittent mutant animal attacks. To this point, the only things he's come across are slavers and zombies.
