Pain…unimaginable burning pain…
Every single portion of my body is in discomfort. Like every neuron in my body is blazing with electricity, it feels like I'm on fire.
I'm not sure how long I've been lying here unconscious. I'm completely lost and have no idea where I am.
It was pouring outside when I got abruptly dropped here. I can hear the raindrops hitting the glass outside my window. It has been pouring outdoors for at least a few days now, and it continues to do so.
The discomfort is too much to bear, the hunger and thirst and weakness I am feeling is just too intense for my body to bear any longer.
Luckily though I was feeling such pain, I wasn't awake all the time to feel discomfort. Most of the time I was just unconscious from the burning pain in my nerves.
......
"Ughhhh"
It must have been two or three days since I was conscious and right now, I'm able to deal with the discomfort a bit better. A buzz has replaced the steady zap that I had been experiencing previously.
After waiting for a day more, the pain lessened considerably and I slowly started to feel connection to my body parts.
I was eventually able to gather enough energy to lift myself up from the ground and took a look around the room.
It was then I discovered I was in a more terrible situation than I imagined.
I was in my room, but it's in a terrible state of disrepair. Everything is covered in dust and mold.
What the f*ck was going on?
.......
Then I slowly made my way towards the window and I had no idea that the simple act of staring out the window could have such a profound impact on someone's life.
The sky has a greenish grey tint to it at this time. And, based on the appearance of things, every house in the area is in shambles.
Not to mention with the heavy rain that's been falling from so long…everything looked wet and mossy and roads were filled with water.
Just when I was about to feel hopeless about the situation, I opened the window and tried to take a better look at the outside world.
.......
It was then I noticed people moving on the roads slowly, It took a bit of time for me to truly see what those humans were, they were humans but it seems they're not alive or more appropriately they should be called zombies.
It appears that these things are as incomprehensible as what you see on television. All they did was idly roam around.
As I stared at them and the broken building and the weird looking sky, a idea emerged in my head that I was no longer in my original world.
"Grrr"
My stomach growled in hunger protesting the lack of food for so long, so I went through the home looking for something to eat, but I couldn't come up with anything.
I removed the knife out of the kitchen, which did not make me feel safe in the slightest. However, it is still a weapon, so I took it with me.
I'm in serious need of food right now. It's been over a week since I last had something to eat. Despite the fact that I can still feel the tingling sensation in my nerves, I have already learnt to ignore it.
As I went around the home looking for food, my vision blurred.
........
Again, I'm lying down on the wooden floor with my back against it. After waking up I was hearing constant beeping sounds from somewhere or everywhere. I had spent my energy roaming home a few hours ago and caused myself to get knocked unconscious.
Is this it, is this how I am going to die?
Hungry weak, and burning with pain. What a shitty to die.
I'm fucking starving right now, I clenched my hand when I felt the knife handle.
As I felt the knife handle, my hunger exploded a hundredfold and I began to have thoughts of cutting my own flesh and eating it to satiate this hunger and weakness.
"Beeeeeeep..Beeeep"
Just as I was thinking of doing it, the beeping sound increased exponentially causing my head to ache.
What in the world is it? fucking hell, I'm hoping none of the zombies outside are able to hear this fucking beeping sound or else I will be dinner for them.
"Beeeeep" "Beeeeeep"
"Beeeeep" "Beeeeeep"
"Beeeeep" "Beeeeeep"
"Beeeeep" "Beeeeeep"
"Fuck, I don't give a damn anymore. I'm done with this. I hope those sounds can be heard by the Zombies. Hopefully, the zombies are already on their way to eat me and finish me."
I let out a scream in frustration and anger, not knowing where the energy came from, when all of a sudden, the beeping sound disappeared and was replaced by a monotonous voice.
"WARNING! WARNING! The result of an excessive amount of hunger, HP has begun to suffer damage and is now at a critical level. Please consume one red potion in order to prevent yourself from certain death."
