Bear attack

A Japanese horned bear appeared out of nowhere and was heading towards Kaneki aggressively.

And meanwhile.

Yuuka: what do we do?!

Natsuki: I don't know! I haven't seen that type of bear before!

Yuuka and Natsuki were hiding.

Yuuka took a peek on the bear that was near Kaneki.

Horned bear: Grrr~!

Yuuka: !!!

Natsuki: what bear is it?!

Yuuka: it has horns! No that's impossible! It can't be

Natsuki: hey! What are you talking about?!

They were talking with soft voice's to not attract the bear.

Yuuka: it's a Japanese horned bear.

Hearing that Natsuki panicked.

Natsuki: but I thought those bears were extinct!

Yuuka: me too but there's one here!

Natsuki: but how can we get it away from Kaneki?!

Yuuka had an idea.

Yuuka: go inside the tent there might be a bear spray it might work and I'll keep watch.

Natsuki: okay!

Natsuki then quietly went inside the tent not alerting teh bear.

Yuuka's thoughts*

(We're lucky that it didn't went towards us when we screamed but it looks like it's checking out Kaneki. But that isn't good Japanese horned bears were very aggressive towards people mostly towards Humans or Demons and they are known to kill! But why is one here? They were supposed to be extinct for over 1,000 years! No that's not important right now! We have to save Kaneki!)

Natsuki's thoughts*

(Quickly! Quickly! We have to help Kaneki-kun!)

Natsuki quietly looked around the tent for a bear spray.

But she accidentally hit a metal bar to the floor.

Horned bear: Grrrr!

Yuuka: Natsuki!

She said softly.

The bear was heading towards the tent.

Natsuki's thoughts*

(What am I going to do! What am I going to do?!)

Kaneki: in Akuma Castle you will find the Treasure.

With him suddenly speaking the bear then brought back it's attention to Kaneki and walked back to him slowly but aggressively.

At the tent*

She looked everywhere in the tent but.

Natsuki: there isn't any bear spray inside the tent.

She then threw the 2 leftover bento boxes to the rock.

Horned bear: Grr?

The bear then noticed the sound that came from the box.

Horned bear: Sniff~

It then caught the scent of the leftovers.

And as it smelled the leftovers it walked it's way there.

Yuuka: alright it's working!

Natsuki: alright wait a bit little longer...

Yuuka and Natsuki waited until the bear has reached the leftovers.

Yuuka: Now!

They then rushed to Kaneki but.

Thud!

Yuuka: Ouch! That hur- oh crap.

Natsuki: !!! Oh no.

Horned bear: Grrr!

Yuuka and Natsuki turned their heads slowly behind them and saw bear looking at them with drooling mouth.

Yuuka & Natsuki: AAAAAHHHHHH!

The bear then charged at them.

(Shit! This isn't good! Kaneki is still too focused on the mural and I don't even know if I can make him lose focus so he could run)

As she was thinking that, she and Natsuki shed a tear.

And he began to move.

Kaneki: ROOOOOAAAAAR!

Horned bear: GRRRRRR!

Natsuki: Kaneki-kun?

Horned bear: ROOOOOAAAAAAR!

The Horned bear the stood up on its hind legs making it's height 6 meters to make itself look bigger.

Kaneki then charged at the bear with Sword-san.

At that moment Kaneki had started to fight the Horned bear.

Kaneki: WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE YA MONSTER?! WELL WHATEVER ILL JUST KILL YOU AND FEED YOU TO MY FRIEND!

Horned bear: ROOOOAAAAAR!

Kaneki began swinging Sword-san slashing the Horned bear.

The Horned bear then retaliated by swinging it's huge paws at him.

Kaneki: Huff!

But Kaneki dodged it.

It then went back to all 4's and started to charge it's horns towards Kaneki.

Yuuka & Natsuki: watch out!

Kaneki: YOU THINK YOUR TOUGH?! THIS IS FOR TRYING TO HARM MY PALS!

Kaneki then went on all 4's too and charged at the bear head on.

Natsuki's & Yuuka's thoughts*

(He's insane!)

Kaneki: ORA!

Horned bear: GROOOOWL!

Bang!

The heads of Kaneki and the Horned bear clashed so hard it made a loud bang.

Kaneki's thoughts*

(This feels odd)

Horned bear: GROOOOWL!

Yuuka: No- No way!

Natsuki: it's?!

Kaneki: ...

The bears paws went up in flames.

Kaneki's thoughts*

(For an extinct animal it's able to use Magic? That's impossible unless...)

Horned bear: ROOOOAAAAAR!

It then fling Kaneki away near their equipment tent.

Thud!

Yuuka & Natsuki: Kaneki-kun!

Kaneki: dang that stings- oh shit.

Horned bear: GRRRR!

swung it's burning paw at Kaneki's arm hitting him and removing his left arm.

Natsuki & Yuuka: !!!

Yuuka: Kaneki-kun!

Horned bear: Grr?!

The Horned bear then noticed them.

Yuuka & Natsuki: Crap!

It then walked towards them.

Scrunch!

But it didn't got far as Kaneki pierced it's skull with Sword-san

Horned bear: ROOOOOOAAAAAAR!

Kaneki: just die already you pain in the ass.

Horned bear: ROOOOOOAAAAAR!

Sword-san: [you should just kill it already Kaneki-chan]

Kaneki: sigh~ in that case. Demon Knight arts, Infernal Flare.

Horned bear: ROOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAR!

The Horned bear then caught on fire and began to burn then.

Thud!

It fell and died.

Kaneki: Haa~ that was very annoying.

Natsuki: Kaneki-kun?

Kaneki: oh hey girls are you two alright?

Yuuka: forget us! What about you?!

Kaneki: don't worry ti's but a scratch.

Natsuki: A Scratch?! Your left arms off!

Kaneki: no it isn't.

Natsuki & Yuuka: then what's that?!

They pointed at his severed arm.

Kaneki: ehh~ I had worse. And more importantly why is this bear here anyways?

Natsuki and Yuuka then explained everything that happened.

After explaining Kaneki took his arm that was on the equipment tent.

Kaneki then kneeled.

Kaneki: I'm sorry for being too focused on the mural, I take full responsibility for everything that happened, I understand that you two probably hate me now-

Yuuka & Natsuki: hey! Slow down! You don't need to apologize.

Kaneki: but it's mostly my fault for not paying attention thats why the Bear came here.

Yuuka: it's alright, you just wanted to find the relic your best friend wanted the most so we can understand why you were too focused on the mural.

Natsuki: Yeah! No need to apologize.

Kaneki: ... Alright fine but in that case we're going back I'm going to tell Dagon to make sure no other wild animal goes near here for a while so this won't happen again.

A black smoke cloud consumed the entire tent and it then disappeared Along with the tent.

Natsuki: there it is! My book!

She found her book.

Natsuki: Aww man! It's covered in blood!

Yuuka: I'm sorry Natsuki.

Natsuki: it's alright...

Kaneki's thoughts*

(Wait wasn't that book underneath?... Oh no)

He remembered his severed left arm was on top of her book.

Kaneki: !!!

Natsuki: what's wrong?

Kaneki bowed and apologized.

Kaneki: I'm sorry! My arm was on top of your book so it bled and my blood went all over your book I'm really sorry!

Natsuki: it's alright Kaneki-kun it wasn't your fault so you don't need to apologize.

Natsuki can clearly see Kaneki's frustration.

Natsuki: well I might as well look at the blank pages.

Natsuki then opened the book at the blank pages.

Yuuka: c'mon Natsuki you won't see anything in the blan-

Yuuka & Kaneki: what's wrong?

Natsuki: there's writing on the blank pages!

Kaneki & Yuuka: what?!

The writing finally appeared in the Blank pages but how and why?
