Darkness is all that surrounds Michael. As he lay there in his disembodied state, he thought of the events that led him to this state. He was just some kid on his way home from his friend's house. They had binge watched the entire Naruto series over spring break.
He was an avid Naruto fan and this wasn't the first time he watched the series over again. Sometimes, when he thought nobody was looking, he would weave hand signs and imagine himself casting a jutsu.
As he was on his way home, reminiscing on his favorite fight scenes, he didn't notice that he walked into the middle of the street. A loud horn woke him from his daydreaming before pain assaulted his mind.
From there, a strange sequence of events occurred. He floated in the void for some time before a strange man appeared. The two spoke at length for some time leading to Michael being given the chance to transmigrate with one wish. His destination was the Naruto universe. Delighted, he made his wish before the strange man sent him away. Now he lay in this darkness, unsure of what to do.
'God, how long is this going to take?' Michael thought with frustration.
'I wonder where I'll appear, or when for that matter?' He pondered, unable to hide his excitement.
'Oh, I think I can feel something happening.' Michael was right, for the darkness that surrounded him was slowly being replaced with light. As that was happening he could begin to feel his body. Then came the sound, and he was alarmed at what he heard.
Cries of pain rang in his ears. Explosions shook his body. Pain assaulted his mind. Memories not his own flashed in his mind. Memories of a boy growing up, attending the ninja academy, graduating and being placed in a team, then being sent off to war.
Michael's eyes shot open and what laid before him was chaos. People in ninja attire fought each other relentlessly. He was dazed, not ready for the sudden stimulus of combat. He wasn't expecting to be dropped right in the middle of a battle. He shut his eyes, trying to calm his mind in an attempt to figure out what was going on. As he lay there, against a tree with bodies of the fallen sprawled around him, he pieced together the details.
The name of the boy he took over was Ashidon Ajin, and he had recently died from a stray kunai. He recalled the deaths of his team and his sensei, he was the last of his team to fall. As the memories assimilate, he no longer remains as Michael, the boy who simply enjoyed the Naruto universe. Nor was he Ashidon, the young Chunin. He became a mixture of both.
All this happened in the span of a second, two souls merged with the soul of Michael being the dominant. When this process was complete a powerful resonance occurred within. His body shook and resonated before becoming still. As this was taking place, the kunai that was lodged in his chest, piercing his heart, was pushed out.
The Kunai fell to the ground and the wound began releasing invisible black matter. The IBM filled the wound and replaced what was lost, it healed him. None of the ninja, enemy or ally noticed this remarkable phenomenon. Not that they would be able to see much save for the fact that the wound he had was healing. They wouldn't be able to determine the source.
It wasn't just his heart and chest being repaired, but every injury his body sustained was being repaired. Broken bones, torn ligaments, ruptured blood vessels, nothing was spared from the effects of the IBM. His bones began to change from their normal white to an obsidian black. Once this process was complete, Michael opened his eyes.
'I wasn't expecting to have the previous owner of this body's memories become a part of me. Though, I can't really complain can I? With his memories comes his experience, that includes his battle experience. I'm not sure if I would have been able to cope with all the death otherwise. Thank you, I will carry on your name in honor of this gift. Can't go around calling myself Michael now can I? From now on, I am Ashidon Ajin.'
Having resolved himself, Ashidon rose to his feet and observed the battle going on around him. If this was his original self he'd be panicking, unsure of what to do. But a calmness he had never known, a gift from the previous host of this body, kept him calm.
He scanned the battlefield and many bodies of the dead lay motionless. As he sees this he can't help but smile. 'What a bounty, so much material to work with. Why don't I put my wish to the test.'
Looking down at the bodies beside him he extended his hand. From the bodies, a bluish light begins emanating from the corpses. The light outlined the bodies before detaching itself. The light completely separated from the body and began taking form. It slowly took the form of the body it originated from. On either side of Ashidon floated a perfect copy of the bodies that lay at his feet.
The eyes of the souls, for that is what they are, opened and they moved around rapidly. Panic appeared on their faces and before they could react, Ashidon smiled.
'Thank you for your sacrifice.' He thought before extending his hand. The souls were sucked into his body. Their mouths opened in a silent scream as they were absorbed into him.
'Now to create.' A cloud of IBM leaked from his body, the cloud split into two and slowly began taking form. The clouds slowly took on a humanoid form, standing at six and a half feet tall with a muscular build. Their hands and feet ended in claws. Their heads taking the likeness of an eyeless crow, beak ending in a sharp but strong point. From their back, a pair of raven-like wings burst out, each feather finely detailed. A feather would occasionally fall but swiftly dissolve into nothingness.
As their forms were set their bodies solidified and appeared to be wrapped in bandages, similar to a mummy. Ashidon looked upon his creations with satisfaction. They remained silent as he eyed them so Ashidon turned to the battle. He raised both hands, still unnoticed by everyone else. All the bodies on the battlefield began to glow. Enemy and ally alike, none were spared. As they glowed the light began to leave their bodies.
Faces resembling those of the bodies they came from looked on in horror. Then they were all sucked into Ashidon's body. A sea of light crashed into him like a tsunami, and he took them all in. The souls flew past those still living, unaware of the spectacle, and once it was over, A massive IBM cloud surrounded the area.
Ashidon took two thirds of the cloud and funneled it into his two creations. As this happened they became denser, they grew a second head, they became sleeker and a spear appeared in their hands. The remainder of the cloud split and formed ten figures similar to the two, but they lacked wings and they only stood at five and a half feet tall.
When they were all formed, they threw their heads back and issued a powerful screech that echoed through the battlefield. Every ninja, ally and enemy froze and their gazes fell on Ashidon. He looked up into the eyes of those present and spoke.
"Let the murder feast." With his declaration the ten crows sprang forth towards the enemy nin with only one goal, death.
Here I am with another fan-fiction, what can I say I enjoy creating new ideas. Y'all know what to do, leave a comment and or review. Peace
