Lee was fully occupied with his training, clad in a 2x gravity mesh suit beneath his clothes, restricting his movements. Despite the limitations, he stuck to the fundamentals of his training: running 20 km and honing his punching and kicking skills on the punch pad, now made more challenging by the increased gravity. However, he persevered and pushed his body to its limits. It took him two weeks to regain his previous speed. Now, he was determined to conquer this new level of training.
With his determination fueling him, Lee continued to work tirelessly, pushing himself harder and harder each day. The gravity mesh suit felt like a heavy burden, but he knew that it was necessary for his growth as a fighter. He focused on perfecting his techniques, making sure that every punch and kick was precise and powerful. The sweat poured down his face as he relentlessly trained, never backing down from the challenge.
As the days passed, Lee could feel himself getting stronger and faster despite the weight of the gravity suit. He refused to let the difficulty of the training hold him back. Instead, he used it as an opportunity to become the best fighter he could be. With each passing day, Lee's skills improved, and he could feel himself getting closer to mastering the new level of training.
Finally, after weeks of gruelling work, Lee turned off the gravity seals and immediately felt a weight lifted off his shoulders. He had done it. He had conquered a new level of training. But he knew that this was just the beginning.
Lee aimed to improve his speed through rigorous training, which although straightforward, was no easy feat. His gravity suit put significant strain on his muscles, but he allowed his natural energy to take over. This repetitive process not only strengthened his muscles but also fortified his bones. The continuous flow of energy also aided in healing any damage incurred during training.
It was time to see if he was prepared for the next challenge. He turned off the gravity in his suit and took off running with all his strength. After running five kilometres, Lee felt the burn in his muscles and his breath becoming heavy, so he allowed his energy to take over. Unbeknownst to him, natural energy was transforming his physicality at the cellular level.
As he continued to run, Lee's body began to feel lighter and more energized. His muscles no longer burned, and his breath became steadier. With each step, he felt a newfound strength and power coursing through him. It was as if he was tapped into a source of energy that he had never experienced before.
As he reached the end of his run, Lee stopped and took a moment to assess how he felt. He was amazed at the transformation he had undergone in such a short amount of time.
He was happy with this small breakthrough but still decided not to go to the next step. His goal was to create a version of 'flash step'...*ahem* 'body flicker' Jutsu, so he could appear cool and surprise them like a 'young master' would.
"Yup, you certainly have the look of a 'young master' now," Lee heard a voice from behind. It was Uzume, who was looking at him with amusement on her face.
"I wasn't trying to look cool," Lee said, his face turning red as if he had been caught with his hand in the cookie jar.
The sight of Lee being embarrassed brought smiles to everyone's faces. Uzume, Reena, and Meena always keep a close eye on Lee as he trains. Whenever he comes up with a funny idea or starts acting eccentric, they never miss an opportunity to playfully tease him.
After taking a brief break, Lee resumed his running. This time, he was training in a gravity-free environment, pushing himself to the limit without any restraint. This served a dual purpose: it acclimated him to normal gravity workouts and allowed him to assess his readiness for the next level.
As he sprinted with all his might, Lee could feel the burn in his muscles and the rush of adrenaline. He knew that to reach his full potential, he had to push himself beyond his comfort zone. With each step, he focused on his breathing and the rhythm of his strides, determined to overcome any obstacles in his way. As he reached the end of his training session, he felt a sense of accomplishment wash over him.
For one week, Lee trained without the assistance of gravity seals. Once he adjusted to this new challenge, he donned a 3x gravity mesh suit and resumed his basic training for the following three weeks. After this intense period, he was prepared to test his readiness to master the 'body flicker' jutsu. However, before he could assess his muscle strain by attempting to run without gravity, Uzume suddenly appeared and whisked him away without a word.
"Um, Onee-san, why have I been dragged to the Hokage's office for no apparent reason?" Lee asked Uzume, who simply smiled and replied, "I just wanted you to meet the clan heads, that's all." As Lee glanced around the room, he noticed Choza sitting beside Uzume, with Inoichi, Fugaku, Hiashi, Shibi Aburame, Tsume Inuzuka, Koharu Utatane, Homura Mitocado, and Danzo who, for some unknown reason, seemed grumpy and then frowned upon seeing Lee.
As the meeting drew to a close, Danzo and his Root ANBU were finally apprehended. This was a moment of celebration for me and the rest of Konoha, as Danzo had a habit of forcefully recruiting talented children into his 'Root' organization, essentially making them his personal slaves. His presence had been like cancer in our village, but now the smaller clans can breathe easy, knowing that their talented shinobi won't be snatched away by Danzo in the name of Konoha's supposed improvement.
Once the meeting finally ended, Lee leaped off of Uzume's lap and took her hand, like a child would. Together, they disappeared into nothingness.
