[Chapter 3] Going Out

Ryo got dressed and looked at the mirror, he could be seen wearing a black kimono and had tied his long purple black hair in a ponytail.

His piercing eyes and exceptional facial features made him stand out among the children around his age.

As he got out he saw his brother wearing a plain white tshirt and black pants reaching his knees.

'I have a habit of dressing traditionally is in this life too huh' thought Ryo with a smile on his face.

His apartment had two rooms,One for him which was his parents previously and one for his brother. There was an open kitchen, a bookshelf on the side, a sofa near the window and a door to the bathroom.

"let's first tell grandma and grandpa that we are going out" said Ryo, patting Soutas head softly with a smile.

"Yosh!" shouted Souta excitedly.

After informing them they stepped outside the apartment building.

'The village seems to bigger than what was portrayed in the anime, this is getting intresting.' thought Ryo, holding Soutas hand and walking to his favourite place to eat.

The place they were going was a restaurant which sold a wide variety of dumplings and was surprisingly near Ichiraku ramen.

'Hmm I want to try the legendary ramen, but that is for another day, from my memories the dumplings are pretty good.'

As they were walking on the streets of konoha, the housewives were commenting with a happy expression,

"such cute children!"

It was true that both Ryo and his brother were different from other children.

Souta also had black hair but not the blue eyes which were a sight to see.

They walked by many places such as bookstores, a place which sold masks, weapon stores.

'I can't wait to start training with a sword, I will definitely be better than my previous life' thought Ryo excitedly.

As they were walking, Ryo saw three people he knew very well, coming out of Ichiraku ramen with big smiles on their faces.

They were, the famous red hot habanero Kushina Uzumaki, the fourth hokage Minato Namikaze and the most famous, the one who sealed kaguya, the main character Naruto Namikaze!

(Authors Note: since Minato and Kushina are still alive Naruto does not carry Uzumaki as his last name.)

The family were talking with a loud voice with a happy expression and people were greeting them as they walked. They were dressed exactly the same as shown in the anime.

Ryo, slowing his pace, looked at them with surprise and thought,

'Woah, I didn't expect to see them so soon.

Looks like Naruto is not hated as in the anime, the hardships is what made Naruto strong, this is going to be one hell of a ride!'

Naruto family conversation,

"Hey dad can you teach me some cool jutsus" said Naruto excitedly.

"Only when you unlock your chakra, can you learn how to perform jutsus, and for that you have to train very hard and not just play around all day" said Minato with a smile on his face.

Hearing this Kushina stared at Minato with an angry expression.

Minato got the message and said with fear in his eyes," Ahem, you are still too young to start training so maybe next year."

"I just wanted to learn some jutsus." said Naruto with a frown and looked at his mother.

"Don't look at me, it was your father's decision." said Kushina with a smile.

'Why are you making me the villain here!' thought Minato with a helpless expression.

"Well, next year you will have to teach me even cooler jutsus, promise me dad." said Naruto with a cheerful tone and a grin on his face.

"I promise" said Minato, regaining his smile.

Then they all started laughing.

End of conversation

'look at how they are laughing, looks like Naruto has had a very good life.' thought Ryo with a tinge of jealousy in his eyes.

"Come on big brother walk faster or we are not going to get a place to sit." said Souta with a frown.

'What am I even thinking, I have my brother, he is my family! I have to protect him at any cost from all the dangers lurking around, luckily I know most of them' thought Ryo with a determined expression after a moment.

(Authors Note:- Ryo has such feelings because he is still him and has got foreign memories which was his past life and has overwhelmed him, not the other way round)

They started to pace and reached the restaurant, luckily they got a table for two.

As they sat down Ryo heard a conversation between three men.

"So next year Ino, Shikamaru and Choji will start going to the academy huh, It will be interesting" said Inoichi laughing.

"My wife bugs me with that everyday, what a drag." said Shikaku with a lazy expression.

"Let's hurry up and order desert, I am still hungry" said Choza with saliva dripping from the side of his mouth.

"It never ceases to surprise me that you can eat so much" said Inoichi with a laugh.

'Woah, another famous people, I am on a hot streak today' thought Ryo letting out a chuckle.

'Looks like next year I will be attending the academy too.' thought Ryo with excitement.

'So the clan kids start the academy at the age of 5 and the civilians start at 6 as they need a certain requirement to enter the academy, since clan kids get trained by their clans they reach the requirements early. Does that mean that I may be in Naruto's class !?' Thought Ryo with a confused expression.

Before getting his memories back, Ryo was a well mannered and talented boy. He often helped the people from different stores to earn some extra money.

The money he got from the bathhouse was not used by him, as he thought it would be required in the future for more important things like buying weapon.

The money he got was not so much that one could consider him rich, it was just enough for him and his brother to buy weapons from the shop in the future.

Helping people had gained Ryo a good reputation and he considered them as friends. The feelings were mutual.

They would often give Ryo and his brother many varieties of things ranging from unique food from outside the village and toys which Ryo gave to his brother.

Ryo and his brother went home after eating with a full stomach.
