[Chapter 10] Secret Location Exposed!

The next day,

Ryo had just finished his daily exercises and was resting under a tree.

After some rest, he stood up, went to the centre of the open space and closed his eyes.

He then switched to his Lightning Chakra mode.

As soon as he did that, he sensed someone was watching him from the top of a tree.

He immediately threw a kunai in that direction and shouted,

"Come out!"

Lightning Chakra mode gave him some sensory abilities too, though it's range wasn't very wide.

A figure appeared in front of Ryo and said in a calm voice,

"Calm down kid, I have no intention of harming you."

Ryo was shocked when he saw who that person was.

The person wore a leaf headband.

He had had short, unkempt, dark-coloured hair, black eyes and a relatively broad nose and well-defined eyelashes.

It was none other than Shisui Uchiha!!

A little while back,

*Sigh*

"It's funny how Itachi found my secret training spot by chance and told everyone about it.

Well it's my fault, if I had told him about the location before, this would have never happened." spoke Shisui with a chuckle.

'Luckily I know another one and it is good too.

The anbu do not patrol that area as no one lives around there, everyone thinks it is owned by a clan and the clans don't care about it.

I have never heard anyone mention it as everyone practices either in the clan ground or in the training field.

Well I can't practice mangekyo at any of those places, can I?' ,

thought Shisui.

As he reached near the spot, he saw a boy swinging a sword with great precision and tenacity.

'Well how did a small kid find about this place?' thought Shisui.

After few minutes of watching him he thought,

'How can a kid be so good at kenjutsu?! Even Itachi wasn't that good when he was so young.' thought Shisui with a surprised look on his face.

'Let's see what else he can do.'

after a while,

'Closing his eyes huh' thought Shisui.

After a moment the boy was covered in lightning.

'How did he learn that?! Doing this should be impossible! Only the Rikage should be able to do this... no this is different, his affinity with lightning nature must be very high for him to pull this off.' thought Shisui with a shocked expression.

As he was thinking a kunai came aiming at him.

Ryo immediately turned his Lightning Chakra mode off.

'Wait! Isn't this Shisui Uchiha?! Oh no! what should I do, should I run.... no he will easily catch me. What should I do now?!' thought Ryo, panicking.

"Calm down, see I am a leaf shinobi" said Shisui, pointing at his leaf headband.

'I have to calm down, I will answer all his questions and maybe we can come to some agreement.' thought Ryo trying to calm down.

"Good, now I am going to ask you some questions so answer them properly, there is no hurry."

Ryo nodded.

"First, what is your name?" asked Shisui with a calm tone.

"Ryo Inoue" answered Ryo nervously.

"So Ryo, you look like a academy student, how are you here instead of the academy?" asked Shisui

"I.... I sent a shadow clone" answered Ryo with hesitation.

'It's no surprise he knows Shadow Clone Jutsu.' thought Shisui.

"What was that lightning jutsu you were practicing?"

"It's called Lightning Chakra Mode." Ryo answered.

"Who taught you this jutsu?" asked Shisui with interest.

"I learned it myself. Ever since I unclocked my chakra, I have been able to this and I was working on my control." answered Ryo.

'Just as I thought, he has unbelievably high affinity to lightning but it seems there is more to it.'

"Then who taught you kenjutsu and Shadow Clone jutsu?" asked Shisui.

"I learned kenjutsu by myself....." answered Ryo.

Sensing no lie, Shisui thought, 'Incredible....'

"and I learnt Shadow Clone jutsu from a scroll that my parents left me." said Ryo with a sadness in his voice.

'So that's how it is.....' thought Shisui.

After a moment,

"Why didn't you continue to attack me when I appeared in front of you?" asked Shisui.

"Seeing how fast you were, I assumed that you were very strong and if I tried to escape, you would have easily caught me." answered Ryo.

'He is quite smart too....' thought Shisui

"How did you find this place?" asked Shisui.

"I go to the library regularly, in one of the books, it was written that this place was not owned by any clan. People assumed that this place owned by a clan and seeing that the book had not been touched before, I ventured a little deep into the forest and found this spot." replied Ryo.

It was true that Ryo had read such a book, so, it was not a complete lie.

He couldn't just tell Shisui that he found it because of the anime.

"Does anyone else know about this place besides you and me?" asked Shisui.

"No, and I am always careful on my way here so I am sure no one else knows."

answered Ryo.

"Final question and you can choose not give an answer." said Shisui.

Ryo nodded.

"Why are you training so hard?" asked Shisui with interest.

"I am training to become strong and I want to become strong so that I can protect my family! strong enough so that they don't have to go through any pain ever again." spoke Ryo full of determination, thinking about his brother and grandparents.

'I got carried away.' thought Ryo, embarrassed.

'Such strong resolve.....' thought Shisui in admiration.

'Something is telling me that I can trust him.' thought Shisui.

"Okay I have come to a decision which will benefit you too."

Ryo got anxious on hearing this and thought,

'benifit me...'

"Before that let me Introduce myself, my name is Shisui Uchiha and I am a Konoha Jonin." said Shisui with a smile on his face.

Ryo pretend to be more shocked than he already was.

"Here is my decision, I will not tell anyone about your training or lightning chakra mode.

In return you can't come here before 5 pm on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday when I am not on a mission.

As for your benefit, you can ask for help in training if you need any, of course." spoke Shisui.

"Why..... why would you help me?" asked Ryo.

"You have a stern resolve for a good cause and, wouldn't the village benefit, if there is another strong person, so this is why I am willing to help you." said Shisui with a smile.

Ryo was shocked when he heard what Shisui said and thought with admiration for him,

'He is really kind.'

"Thank you so much! And who wouldn't want to be helped by the famous ~Shisui of the body flicker~" said Ryo excitedly.

For some reason Ryo felt comfortable speaking to Shisui, it was like speaking to an older brother.

"Some people do call me that hahaha...." spoke Shisui, slightly laughing.
