When this human asked which room she would like to stay in, Kaguya didn't think much and chose randomly.
When she saw him magically pull something out before her eyes, though she didn't show it, she was somewhat surprised.
So far, this red-haired human was shrouded in mystery. This was precisely one of the reasons why she agreed to stay. She felt curious and wanted to learn more about him. And if he tried anything strange, she was confident in her own strength, though she knew he was nothing like the other natives of this planet.
After he left and she was alone, Kaguya went to the bed. It was soft, and the sheets were smooth to the touch.
'Who is he, really?'
She began to believe he might be someone like herself, someone who didn't belong to this planet. If so, perhaps that would explain a lot.
But if that's the case, he must not belong to her clan. So, 'Does he belong to one of those other clans?'
No matter how much she thought about it, she couldn't reach a conclusion.
But the strange conversation she had with him earlier still echoed in her mind: 'He knows about the Divine Tree...'
That was enough to make her want to know more about him. After all, she was sent to this planet precisely because of that.
Although everything had started from her curiosity about the scent lingering in the air that had drawn her to him, now, she wanted to know more about him for different reasons.

The next morning, Tanaka woke up feeling very well.
Unlike where he came from, the air on this planet was much purer.
'Is this because natural energy is so present on this planet and chakra hasn't "polluted" the air?'
There was no denying that, although chakra is quite versatile, natural energy, which can be seen as a more advanced form of chakra itself, was more powerful. Otherwise, those who learned to use natural energy wouldn't be treated as living legends.
Everyone who used natural energy, be it Naruto, Jiraiya, or even the First Hokage, demonstrated a great increase in strength. This suggests that natural energy itself was superior.
Maybe he was being too objective; obviously, not everyone is capable of using natural energy. Otherwise, many people on this planet, who haven't yet been "contaminated" by chakra, would be many times stronger than the ninjas from where he came, a version of this planet with at least a thousand years of difference. Just by observing people at war, it was evident that their highest level was still far from level 100.
Although reaching level 100+ isn't that common, in his world, there were many who reached and surpassed that level.
Of course, the same couldn't be said for animals; from what he had seen, animals in this world had a greater affinity with natural energy, even managing elemental release.
His thoughts were abruptly interrupted by the sound of the door clicking open. Looking up, he saw Kaguya descending the wooden stairs with impeccable elegance, radiating all her beauty.
It was undeniable that she came from a noble family. The simple act of descending the stairs spoke for itself.
"Good morning," Tanaka said as she reached the bottom.
Looking at him, she simply nodded with a small gesture.
Tanaka smiled as he asked, "Hungry? I made oven bread with scrambled eggs."
Kaguya's eyes turned to the wooden table.
"Thank you, I will accept," she replied.
Unlike yesterday, today, as she sat down to eat, Kaguya showed an elegance she hadn't displayed while eating the previous day.
Perhaps she was simply very hungry before, or maybe she hadn't cared enough to observe etiquette or anything of the sort.
Whatever the reason, Tanaka didn't dwell on it, eating while occasionally glancing at her.
"If you have something to say to me, just speak," she said, noticing that he was watching her.
And how could she not notice? He wasn't the least bit discreet about it.
Caught in the act, Tanaka felt a bit awkward but quickly smiled: "Look, as I said yesterday, I plan to get rid of what's affecting this planet. And as for you, what will you do?"
"Nothing," she replied. "Whether you succeed in doing that or not is not my concern."
Tanaka was puzzled. Did she have that much confidence that he wouldn't be able to destroy the Divine Tree, or perhaps she simply didn't care what happened?
The reality was that he didn't know exactly when Kaguya started to care about this world and wanted to save it instead of destroying it.
What would be the answer?
Although curious, he knew that, even if he asked her, he was unlikely to get an answer.
'How different is she from the Kaguya shown in the anime?' This question crossed his mind.
But then, he thought: 'But what was really shown about her?'
In the end, there was so little information that he couldn't formulate any real conjecture about her.

Tanaka left the house he had created just as it was. With no fixed place to stay, he simply wanted to make this dwelling his home. To prevent any animals from coming and destroying it, he created a formation around the property.
He was about to say goodbye to Kaguya; though he wanted to get to know her better, even see if there was a chance to invite her to the Revolutionary Army, he couldn't envision a scenario where she would accept.
"I'm heading—"
"I will go with you," she interrupted, seeming to know what he was going to say.
Tanaka looked at her curiously. "Why do you want to come with me?"
"I know where the tree you want to destroy is," she said in her usual neutral tone and accent. "I want to see with my own eyes if you are capable of doing it."
Tanaka felt as if he were being tested by her.
'No matter,' he thought.
He didn't know if destroying the Divine Tree would complete the dungeon or if, to finish, he would need to defeat Kaguya. Either way, he might as well start by trying to destroy the Divine Tree.
'But, should I take the fruit first? Or, if the fruit is picked, even if the Divine Tree is destroyed, as long as the fruit exists, will it not count as completed?'
Tanaka stopped overthinking and decided he'd figure it out when he got there. Looking at her, he asked, "You can fly, right?"
Instead of responding with words, she simply began to float a few meters off the ground.
Well, it would be illogical if she couldn't, otherwise, it wouldn't make sense for her to have traveled through space to reach this planet.
Flying as well, he heard her say, "Follow me."
Without wasting time, he followed her without falling behind.
When he caught up to her, she increased her speed, and this continued until they reached around 300 km/h.
In Kaguya's mind, she thought: 'It's fine if he tries to destroy the Divine Tree, but if he tries to consume the fruit, I will stop him.'
