The three-day waiting period for the beginning of the Finals passed by in the blink of an eye.
Tsunade woke up and quickly took care of her daily necessities, after which she had breakfast with her family.
A major change that occurred was the inclusion of Kuna and Ashina to their meals.
Ashina hadn't changed much over the years, with the vitality of the Uzumaki Clan being showcased through his same appearance.
Kuna, on the other hand, had grown into a beautiful young kunoichi, as she no longer resembled her former childish self.
The family of 6 enjoyed their breakfast together, with the atmosphere being relatively peaceful as Mito and Ashina talked to each other while Haru and Ayako spoke quietly with each other about something.
The final conversation was between Kuna and Tsunade, as they talked about the Chunin Exams Finals.
"So Tsuna, do you think you'll be able to win the tournament today?" Kuna asked Tsunade.
Tsunade pondered on the question for a moment, before she answered "I think I have a good chance to win. But that doesn't mean it will be remotely simple."
The two chatted some more, with the conversation delving into Kuna's latest missions and the Fuinjutsu that she's been able to come up with.
The family retained this kind and friendly atmosphere until they finished eating, showcasing how far they had grown since the losses in the family.
They all had learned to cope with the loss of Hashirama and Tobirama fully, and while they won't be forgotten, they have learned how to move on.
Tsunade then headed to the arena where the Chunin Exams would be held, though this wasn't simple as she saw a large number of street stalls on the way and a massive number of people entering to watch the fights.
To get to the arena in a faster time, Tsunade utilized her seismic sensing to pinpoint a path in which she could quickly get to the arena.
She arrived and went near the other Konoha shinobi who were competing, with them all showcasing some form of nervousness, so much that they didn't even notice her arrival.
"Don't tell me you guys are afraid. We've come too far to get scared now." Tsunade said in a teasing voice while drawing the attention of them all to herself.
"I'm The Great Toad Sage Jiraiya, I have no need to be afraid of anyone!" Jiraiya spoke in a proud tone, making everyone laugh and breaking the tension in the room.
The group of 7 then proceeded to talk to each in casual conversation, though their conversation was broken as the voice of Hiruzen resounded over the stadium.
"Good evening to all those who have joined us for this year's Chunin Exams. To begin, I would like to welcome my esteemed guests.
They are the leaders of the other participating Villages. The leader of Kumogakure, the Raikage A. The leader of Iwagakure, the Tsuchikage Onoki. And finally, the leader of Sunagakure, the Kazekage Nezu."
The people from the other Villages cheered upon hearing the introduction of their respective Kage, with each smiling in response to seeing this reaction.
Hiruzen then continued "Now, then, I hope everyone has gotten thoroughly prepared for the trial ahead of them, as this may be the most difficult battle you have ever dealt with. The difficulty will be unlike anything you young Genin have dealt with in your short careers. But, I have faith that the next generation shall showcase great strength and perseverance among yourselves and that you all will truly shine in the future. And now, with that being said, let us commence the Chunin Exams!!"
As Hiruzen finished, a bracket was revealed that showcased the matchups.
1st Round: Chihiro vs Sakumo
2nd Round: Kenta vs Shikai
3rd Round: Roshi vs Tsunade
4th Round: Might Duy vs Blue B
5th Round: Dabui vs Orochimaru
6th Round: Jiraiya vs Shiro
Hiruzen then stood up again and loudly proclaimed
"Now, let the first match begin!!!"
