Kurenai, Shizune, come and take a look, the scenery below is so beautiful!" Nohara Rin said happily to Kurenai and Shizune.
Hearing her words, Kurenai and Shizune also came to the window. Looking at the rough sea below, excited smiles appeared on their faces.
"I have never seen the sea from the sky," Shizune exclaimed.
"Yes, from the sky, both the land and the sea are really beautiful," Kurenai added.
"Hahaha, I didn't feel dizzy at all this time while riding in the flying house. I've been on a boat at sea before and almost vomited out my bile," Rin laughed.
Kurenai, Rin, and Shizune chatted excitedly. This time, when they came out with Takuya Senju, it didn't feel like they were on a mission at all. It felt like they were on vacation.
"Okay, come here," Takuya called from the sofa, looking at the happy group.
"Lord Hokage has called us; we should go quickly," Kurenai said.
"I'm not going, it's better for you two to go," Rin replied.
"Tch, I'm not going. I'll give this opportunity to you two," Shizune retorted.
Rin, Kurenai, and Shizune all showed humility, but it was clear no one wanted to sit with Takuya.
"Forget it, you can play by yourselves. I will go and sleep now," Takuya said with a smile, shaking his head. He then walked into his room alone.
"Look at you two; Lord Hokage has returned to his room now. Are you dumbfounded?" Kurenai snorted at Rin and Shizune.
"Tch, I think you want to get close to Lord Hokage. Now is the time. You might as well go directly to his room," Shizune replied, not backing down.
"Yes, go in now, and you will be Mrs. Hokage from now on," Rin teased.
"You two, whatever you say, there's no way I would do such a frivolous thing anyway. I'm going back to my room first," Kurenai said coldly, turning around and heading to her room.
Rin and Shizune looked at each other.
"Don't look at me, I won't go either. I'm not a nymphomaniac like those women," Rin said.
"I won't go either. I really don't know what's good about men," Shizune added.
The two exchanged a few more words and then went to their separate rooms.
Seeing it was getting quiet outside, Takuya chuckled and shook his head. Although after a few days of getting along, his relationship with Kurenai and the others had become much closer, they were still a bit shy.
"Never mind. Anyway, I have plenty of time, so there's no need to rush," Takuya said to himself, lying down and closing his eyes.
Late at night, Takuya suddenly opened his eyes. The next second, the door to his room was pushed open.
"Huh? How did you get in?" Takuya asked curiously, seeing Kurenai walking in quietly.
"Uh... Lord Hokage, I feel a little uncomfortable. Can you check me?" Kurenai said hesitantly. "By the way, don't pay attention to what we said during the day. I said that just to let Rin and Shizune express their true feelings."
"Yeah? Then you really found the right person. Come on, let me check it out for you," Takuya chuckled. He knew this was just an excuse Kurenai made for herself, but he wouldn't call her out on it. He patted the bed next to him and pulled Kurenai to his side.
As soon as Kurenai approached, Takuya smelled a hint of alcohol. Looking at her red face, he felt his heart move. Unlike Tsunade and others, the current Kurenai was like a bud in bloom, waiting to be picked.
"Kurenai, wearing clothes will affect the test results," Takuya whispered in her ear.
Hearing this, Kurenai's body trembled slightly. She then obediently let Takuya take off her clothes. Takuya swallowed hard, looking at her tender skin and hot figure. He didn't expect this little girl to be so well-developed.
"Lord Hokage, please...please begin," Kurenai said tremblingly.
Takuya raised his hand, ready to "check" Kurenai's body. But at that moment, there was another knock on the door.
"Lord Hokage, are you sleeping?" Shizune's voice sounded outside.
Hearing Shizune's voice, Kurenai was shocked, and her face turned red as if it was about to bleed. If she was discovered like this, she would be laughed at for the rest of her life. Thinking of this, Kurenai quickly hid her entire body under the quilt.
As soon as she finished, the door was pushed open by Shizune.
"Lord Hokage?" Shizune called out.
"What's wrong? What's the matter?" Takuya asked, smiling helplessly.
"Um... Lord Hokage, I'm feeling a little unwell. Can you check me out?" Shizune whispered.
After hearing her words, Takuya felt Kurenai snort, hiding under the quilt. As expected of best friends, even the excuses they gave were exactly the same. But Takuya didn't refuse; he nodded.
"Come here, let me check for you."
"Thank you, Lord Hokage."
Shizune took the initiative to sit next to Takuya.
"Where does it hurt?" Takuya asked curiously.
"Here," Shizune said, taking Takuya's hand and placing it on her chest.
Seeing the bold Shizune, Takuya was a little surprised. Usually, Shizune was very quiet and reserved. Could it be that Shizune and Mikoto were the same type? But Takuya didn't refuse the benefits delivered to his door. While chatting with Shizune, he checked her body.
After a while, there was another knock on the door. This time, it was Rin's voice.
"It's over, I'm sleepy."
"No...i must not be discovered," Shizune panicked and hid under the quilt on the bed.
The next second, both Kurenai and Shizune exclaimed.
"Lord Hokage, I seem to hear the voices of Kurenai and Shizune," Rin asked doubtfully at the door.
After hearing her words, Takuya walked out of bed and opened the door. He led Rin to the bed and lifted the quilt.
"Well, here they are," Takuya smirked.
Kurenai and Shizune shrank in shame. Rin opened her mouth in disbelief, looking at her two best friends on the bed, speechless for a long time.
"Weren't you two very noble during the day? Didn't you agree to stay in your own rooms?" Rin asked.
Kurenai and Shizune both rolled their eyes. It seemed they all had the same idea.
"Why, are you feeling unwell too?" Takuya asked with a smile. Without waiting for Rin to respond, he threw her onto the bed.
"Alright, it looks like we'll all be sleeping together tonight," Takuya said, chuckling.
The three friends exchanged looks, resigned to their fate.
---
Since the last night when Kurenai, Shizune, and Rin found themselves in an awkward encounter with Takuya, they had stopped pretending. In the days that followed, each of them wanted to be close to Takuya, which made him a little helpless.
Now, he didn't plan to take things further with Kurenai and the others just yet. He decided the best moment would be on their wedding day. So, to meet his needs, Takuya could only tease Kurenai and the others every night and feed them some milk.
A few days later, the group finally arrived at Kirigakure.
After stepping out of the flying house, Kurenai and the others stretched, feeling relieved to be on solid ground again after the high-altitude flight.
"Hokage-sama, what should we do now?" Kurenai asked, looking at Takuya.
Back then, not long after they graduated from the Ninja Academy, the Third Shinobi World War ended. The entire ninja world had entered a period of relative calm. Later, the Ninja World United Ninja Academy was established, and they went to study for a while. Only recently did they graduate.
Their mission experience was not extensive, so they instinctively looked to Takuya for guidance.
"This mission is led by you. Just do as you see fit," Takuya said calmly. With him around, there was no way Kurenai and the others would encounter any serious problems. He decided to let them try to solve the problem on their own first. Only then could they grow quickly.
"Understood. Let's visit the Fifth Mizukage first," Kurenai, Rin, and Shizune discussed and made a decision.
The group walked towards the Mizukage Building, with Takuya following quietly, hands clasped behind his head.
As they walked, the air felt very humid. True to its name, Kirigakure was filled with dense fog, making visibility poor. The whole village was eerily silent, which felt very oppressive.
"This smell..." Kurenai and the others frowned as they reached the center of the village. They smelled a pungent odor of blood in the air.
"Wind Style: Great Breakthrough!" Kurenai formed a seal with her hands, and a powerful gust of wind blew away the surrounding fog.
"This is..." The thick fog dissipated, revealing the scene clearly. While they didn't see any bodies, there were bloodstains everywhere that hadn't been dealt with.
"There must have been a massacre here!" Rin exclaimed. Such a large-scale bloodshed must have caused a tragic scene.
Shizune and Kurenai exchanged glances, both raising their guard. Everything felt strange. They took out their kunai, prepared for possible attacks, and slowly walked towards the Mizukage Building. Along the way, there were bloodstains everywhere, but they didn't encounter anyone, making the situation even stranger.
As one of the most powerful ninja villages in the world, where had all the Kirigakure ninjas gone?
Soon, they arrived at the Mizukage Building.
"Stop! Who are you?" Four masked Kirigakure Anbu ninjas stood guard outside. Seeing Kurenai and the others, they immediately drew their swords and assumed fighting stances.
Kurenai took out a scroll from her pouch. "We are ninjas from Konoha. We're here to assist Kirigakure in putting down a rebellion under the orders of Lord Hokage." She threw the scroll to one of the Anbu ninjas.
"We Kirigakure have no rebellion. Leave," the Anbu ninja said coldly, not even bothering to open the scroll.
Seeing this, Kurenai and the others were even more confused. "We just found a lot of blood on our way here. Are you hiding something?" Kurenai asked loudly.
"Snort! Attack!" The Anbu ninja ordered, choosing to strike.
"Genjutsu: Demonic Illusion: Tree Binding Death!" Kurenai was prepared, forming seals quickly. She created a genjutsu clone and pulled the attacking Kirigakure ninja into an illusion.
With a swift slash of her kunai, Kurenai killed the Anbu ninja instantly. Shizune, using her Chakra Scalpel, fought back and forth with another Anbu. After several rounds, Shizune used a hidden weapon to hit the enemy, the poison killing the Kirigakure ninja instantly.
"Water Style: Water Bullet Jutsu!" Rin formed a seal and shot a bullet-like stream of water from her fingertip, penetrating the Anbu in front of her. Three of the four Kirigakure Anbu died instantly.
As future wives of Takuya, Kurenai, Rin, and Shizune had been guided in their training by Takuya, Uzumaki Kushina, and others. Combined with the powerful heritage of the Senju clan, Kurenai, Rin, and Shizune were all capable Jōnin. They easily dealt with the Kirigakure Anbu.
"Damn it!" The last remaining Kirigakure Anbu cursed, realizing he couldn't match the three women. His only chance for survival was to try to capture the man traveling with them.
Activating the Body Flicker Technique, the Anbu appeared next to Takuya. To his surprise, Kurenai and the others didn't even react, their eyes showing mocking looks. This made the Anbu feel something was wrong, but it was too late to back down now.
In the next moment, the Anbu saw a pair of lavender eyes composed of spiral circles—the Rinnegan. Just one look made his heart palpitate, and his vision darkened.
With a muffled sound, Takuya gently stepped over the Anbu's body and followed Kurenai and the others towards the Mizukage Building. It seemed a significant change had indeed occurred in Kirigakure. The current task was to find the Fifth Mizukage.
