Chapter 32 : Exploring Nature

Opening his eyes Kai woke up from his sleep feeling sting in his heart.

Kai was a little bit in a daze staring at the ceiling of his bed thinking about the weird dream that has already become a common thing for him.

It occurs once a while when he sleeps, he cannot remember what he was dreaming but it always leaves a trace of sting in his heart when he wakes up.

What matters for him is that even though he cannot remember the content of what he is dreaming, it always succeeds to give him motivation to keep moving forward, never give up and always trying to become a better human for himself.

While still in his daze, the sound of a loud voice awakened him from his daze.

"WAKE UP, WAKE UP."

"WAKE UP, WAKE UP" *Urrrr

Looking to the source of the sound he saw his parrot who seemed already awoke from sleep and tried to make him rise from bed.

Taking a deep breath Kai raises from his bed, after a little bit of stretching he comes closer to his parrot, taking it to his hand where he gives some treat to give a cue that he is already awake and his parrot can stop speaking.

"Do you ready to exploring the forest Ōmu"

Kai tries to speak to his parrot, caresses his bird feathers and tickles it under the beak.

*Squawked "Play"

"Wait until I finish my training first."

After giving his bird another treat Kai changes his clothes to the one he usually wears when he does his daily training session.

He proceeded to the backyard of his home where he started his 1000 kicks task that is now becoming easier in his opinion.

So most of the time he takes the initiative to increase the amount of kick that he does and increase the weight on his legs to make it harder.

After the sun finally showed itself fully and he was done with his task Kal decided didn't need to increase the amount of kick for today because he wanted to explore the forest with his parrot.

Entering his home, Kai greeted his mother who was already awake on his way to his room where he started taking a shower and changed his clothes to the one he was going to use during his adventure.

Looking at his reflection in the mirror Kai felt everything was already good, so he started checking his bag for everything that he was going to need for his adventure that he had already prepared last night.

After double checking everything and feeling everything was already packed he took his parrot and placed it on his shoulder where he started descending to the stairs to meet his parents in the kitchen.

Entering the kitchen he greeted both of his parents where he sat in his chair to wait for the food to be ready.

"Do you already bring everything Kai?"

His mother asked him while carrying the food to the table.

"Yes mother."

"Hmm…, are you gonna tell your father where do you want to go Kai?"

Hearing his father's question he just remembered that he forgot to tell his father about his plan to go to the forest.

"Ahh…, sorry dad yesterday I forgot to tell you when you just came back from a mission, I want to take Ōmurichi to go on an adventure in the forest."

*Squawked "Play" x2

After explaining to his father the plan for his adventure, the three of them start eating their breakfast.

After finishing his breakfast he said goodbye to his parents where he started heading outside his home.

Opening the door to go outside Kai was startled when he saw his father was on another side of the door.

"What's wrong father?"

"Ssstttt…, here take this, sorry your father was rarely at home, I'm giving it to you because your father knows that you can be trusted with it."

Looking at the things that his father gives him, Kai instantly knows what it is at first glance.

"Is it the real kunai father?"

"Yes, and remember to be responsible to use it."

"I will father."

Kai hugged his father to thank him for the gift that he was given.

After safely keeping the kunai that his father was given, Kai says his goodbye to his father for the second time.

And starts heading to the direction where the forest he wanted to visit was.
