"What did you say!?" Ebisu yelled at Naruto after hearing him insult both him and Konohamaru, who, by the way, was still confused about what retroactive birth control meant and what Naruto intended by it.
"I said you both are walking advertisements for retroactive birth control. Do you have some problem with your ears or something?" Naruto mocked them again before standing up from his chair.
Hiruzen, observing all of this, was quite shocked by Naruto's behavior. Naruto might have been mischievous in the past, but right now, he was acting very differently compared to his old self.
"I'll be going now, since everything is done, Lord Hokage," Naruto said as he started to walk toward the exit of the room. He was suddenly attacked by Konohamaru, but Naruto quickly kicked him in the direction of Ebisu, causing Konohamaru to crash into Ebisu and make him fall.
Though Ebisu could have dodged the flying Konohamaru and saved himself from falling, doing so might have injured Konohamaru.
Soon, Naruto exited the Hokage's mansion and searched for something in his left pocket, pulling out a frog purse, Gama-chan.
"This much might be enough," Naruto thought as he opened Gama-chan to find around 2000 ryo in it. Hiruzen gave Naruto 5000 ryo every month, which is around $119.50, $120 if you round it up. Surviving on that amount is like giving someone a kunai and asking them to fight an entire army.
If not for Iruka buying Naruto ramen sometimes and Teuchi (the ramen man) giving Naruto free ramen when he was alone and couldn't afford it, Naruto might have already died of starvation.
"He was living a better life than me, at least," Naruto thought as he started to walk towards the hospital of Konoha. He needed to buy some things from there.
As for why he thought Uzumaki Naruto's life was better than his, it was because Uzumaki Naruto's life was way easier than Namikaze Naruto's.
Hiruzen didn't give Namikaze Naruto any money; he had to hunt for fish in the river with his bare hands as he didn't even know what a fishing rod was. Danzo also experimented on him along with Orochimaru when he was a child.
But, of course, when he gained power, the first thing he did was destroy the Leaf Village, starve Hiruzen to death, torture Danzo to the extent he begged for death, and chain Orochimaru, throwing him into a volcano made of Amaterasu's lava.
Good old days.
"I heard this damn demon killed someone today."
"I also heard that. Why can't he just disappear?"
As Naruto walked to the hospital, everyone glared at him with hatred and fear while whispering about him. He ignored them since he had learned long ago that if you let the opinions of insignificant beings affect you, you will never achieve your desires.
Soon, Naruto reached the hospital of Konoha Village. It wasn't particularly grand, but it was sufficient for treating Konoha's shinobi and civilians.
As Naruto entered, many people exiting the hospital gave him looks of disgust, but when Naruto glanced at them, they were scared out of their wits.
"Oh my! Isn't it little Naruto? What business do you have here?" the pharmacist assistant of the attached pharmacy in the hospital asked with a smile.
She was one of the few people who didn't hate Uzumaki Naruto and saw him as a human being.
"I would like to buy around 100 bandage strips, 10 30 ml syringes, and the 10 thinnest needles you have," Naruto said quickly, not giving the pharmacist assistant any chance to respond.
"I can give you the bandages since we have them, but I don't think we have 30 ml syringes. We might have 25 ml syringes, and the thinnest needle we have is about 5 mm," the assistant replied with a smile.
She didn't doubt Naruto or ask why he wanted these items since it was normal for shinobi to buy supplies from her pharmacy in abnormal amounts compared to regular people. Shinobi often went on long missions and needed to ensure they had enough medical supplies.
She also didn't think Naruto would use these things to hurt anyone.
"Wait for a sec, Naruto," the assistant said as she entered the room behind her, which was filled with medicines and other medical supplies.
As Naruto waited for her to gather his items, he noticed a goldfish a few feet away swimming comfortably in its fishbowl. Suddenly, Naruto extended his hand towards the fishbowl.
Some silver sparks seemed to come out of Naruto's fingers and enter the fishbowl, but at first, it didn't appear to do anything.
"Naruto, sorry to make you wait. Here are the things you asked for," the pharmacist assistant said, handing Naruto a plastic bag with a pack of bandage strips, 10 syringes, and 10 5 mm needles in it.
"That will be 420 ryo," she said. Naruto grabbed the plastic bag, opened his Gama-chan, and took out four hundred ryo notes and two ten ryo coins, handing them to the pharmacist assistant.
"Have a nice day," the pharmacist assistant said with a smile as she put the money in the cash register.
"You too," Naruto replied. Although he didn't really mean it, he knew how to manipulate people by showing them what they wanted to see until he gained their trust. This time, it happened naturally, even though he had no real use for the woman in front of him.
Naruto started to exit the hospital, and the pharmacist assistant looked at his back, giving one more smile.
Meanwhile, the goldfish in the fishbowl was suddenly hit by an electric shock from the bottom of its bowl. It was actually Naruto's Reflecting Lightning Jutsu.
"I just need someone to hunt now," Naruto thought as he walked toward his home, which was pretty close to the hospital, only a 2-3 minute walk.
He needed those syringes to take the blood of a shinobi with a unique ability and then use that blood to alter his own DNA and cells. This was a technique he created, one that made him so powerful he was literally playing with Madara.
"I still have some time left," Naruto thought as he reached his apartment, a small unit. He placed the plastic bag in a drawer, then took out a scroll, a brush, and some ink.
"Some things never change, no matter the world, huh?" Naruto thought as he opened the scroll to see a bunch of drawings in it, which were imaginations of jutsus Uzumaki Naruto wanted to create.
Though his drawing skills were not great, Namikaze Naruto also did something similar in his past life.
However, unlike Uzumaki Naruto, who just drew his imaginative jutsus, Namikaze Naruto used to write proper theories along with drawing how the jutsus would look.
Naruto then took out another scroll to write something on it. There were only around three scrolls. Uzumaki Naruto had bought them months ago during a buy-one-get-two offer but soon became bored after drawing on just one scroll.
"Hmmm... that spear looked a lot like this," Naruto thought as he drew the spear that had pierced his heart and killed him in his past life. It was golden in color and resembled the Six Paths' staff in some ways.
That spear somehow managed to mess up the hundreds of bloodlines in Namikaze Naruto's body, causing them to activate at their full power and potential. However, his body couldn't handle that many bloodlines simultaneously and turned to ashes. This is what Naruto deduced after transmigrating into this world and thinking about it for a second.
"Those people looked like Otsutsukis," Naruto thought as he remembered the faces of the three beings flying in the air who threw that spear at him.
"They had golden glowing hair and some weird design on their foreheads," Naruto mused. Although those weren't typical traits of Otsutsukis, he felt the same aura from them as he had felt from Madara when he became the Jinchuriki of the Ten Tails. It was a unique aura, but they still felt like bugs to him, even as he was dying.
So it didn't really add up how they were able to kill him.
"Golden hair... Silver hair," Naruto drew the images of the three beings as he remembered them, along with an image of Madara as the Ten Tails' Jinchuriki to see the similarities between them.
"Weird eyes, weird faces, weird hair, weird clothes... They have everything in common," Naruto thought as he closed the scroll and placed it back in the drawer. It wasn't the right time to worry about them.
"I need to create some jutsus to counter attacks like that," Naruto thought. If this truly was another world, he was bound to meet those cowardly motherfuckers again. And he was determined to kill them with their own spear this time.
Namikaze Naruto's greatest ability was to prepare for everything, even if it had less than a 1% chance of happening. In his past life, almost everyone tried to adapt to his fighting style and jutsus to beat him, but he adapted to their adaptations before they even knew what was happening.
Though he was killed by a sneak attack, he wasn't really scared. During his peak in his past life, he had absorbed almost every ability present in that era and had a massive amount of chakra and natural energy. If it wasn't for his body being so fragile, he might have beaten those three attackers to death. It was just like how Isshiki was overpowering Naruto and Sasuke in Boruto but died because of his time limit.
"It's almost time," Naruto said, glancing at the clock, which showed 8:45. The team assignments for the new graduates would be announced soon, so he had to go to the academy and see which team he was placed in. The announcement was at 9:00, so he still had plenty of time to get there.
Even though he didn't think Konoha had anyone capable of teaching him at this point—or at any point—he knew he needed to regain his abilities soon. Naruto ran towards the academy at full speed, arriving shortly after and entering the classroom.
"Naruto! What are you doing here? Today's class is for students who passed, not for failures like you," a boy yelled mockingly as Naruto entered and sat on a bench.
"If you can't see this, your eyes must be as useless as your brain—give them a good polish," Naruto replied coldly, pointing to his forehead protector. Despite wearing the headband, the boy had the audacity to mock him.
"Y-You!" The boy tried to yell back but was intimidated by Naruto's glare and quickly retreated to his seat.
"Interesting," thought Sasuke, observing the scene. Naruto seemed different today, more intense and composed.
"Sasuke-kun," came an annoyingly familiar voice, causing Sasuke's mood to sour. It was Sakura, who persistently annoyed him for no reason. Anyone could tell Sasuke disliked her, but Sakura's brain wasn't as large as her forehead, and she couldn't see the obvious.
Soon, Iruka entered the classroom with a file in his hand. "As you already know, today is the day you will be assigned to a team and will be trained under Jonin instructors," he announced, opening the file to read the team assignments.
"Team 1…"
"Team 2…"

"Team 7: Uchiha Sasuke, Haruno Sakura…"
Sakura's face lit up with pure happiness at the thought of being on the same team as Sasuke.
"And finally, Uzumaki Naruto."
Sakura's face fell, while Naruto's remained cold and indifferent.
