CHAPTER 11

---

As soon as Hiruzen spoke, a shiver ran through the air. From the shadows of the ANBU, a group of skilled shinobi emerged, their movements silent and deliberate.

Kunai glimmered in their hands, poised for swift action. In a heartbeat, they struck, executing the ANBU guards without a sound.

The precision was breathtaking. One moment, the ANBU stood resolute; the next, they were falling like leaves in autumn, their bodies crumpling silently to the ground.

"Did you see that?" one Jonin whispered, disbelief painted across his face. "They moved like ghosts. I didn't even sense them until it was too late."

His companion nodded, still wide-eyed. "Yeah, I didn't know such a force existed in the village. They must be Jonin-level—no doubt about it. Where did the Hokage gather this hidden power?"

Awed murmurs swept through the ranks of clan leaders and Jonin alike. Hiruzen's methods were formidable, his ability to conceal such powerful ninjas a cause for both admiration and fear.

Hiruzen stepped forward, the weight of authority in his posture.

"I, Sarutobi Hiruzen, the Third Fire Shadow of Konoha, sentence you to death for conspiring against the village and attempting to assassinate your leader," he declared, his voice ringing clear.

Without a moment's pause, he hurled a kunai at Mitarashi Zashi.

"Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu!" he shouted, forming a hand sign. The single kunai multiplied into a hail of fifty, each clone flying through the air with lethal intent.

Zashi's eyes widened in shock, but instinct kicked in. He dodged, drawing his sword and igniting it with fiery chakra.

He braced himself, but Hiruzen vanished from sight in a flash. A moment later, he appeared directly in front of Zashi, a Rasengan forming in his hand, which he pushed straight into Zashi's chest.

The sudden disappearance of Hiruzen startled Zashi. "Flying Raijin... you've mastered it," Zashi muttered through gritted teeth.

"Don't think you can take me down with just this," Zashi growled as he slashed at Hiruzen with his fiery sword.

"But I expect this to be enough," Hiruzen replied, his voice calm yet commanding.

"You overestimate yourself, Zashi. Today, I will make an example out of you in front of everyone."

The Rasengan clashed with Zashi's sword, causing a violent explosion. **Boom!** Zashi was flung backward, his sword battered and his expression grim. He crashed into a tree, barely able to stay on his feet.

The impact was explosive, sending Zashi hurtling back. He crashed against a tree, struggling to regain his footing. "Ah, I didn't expect you to be this weak," Hiruzen taunted.

"Come, I won't use the Rasengan or Flying Raijin again. Let's see if you can truly challenge me."

"Don't think mocking me will let you win, Hiruzen!" Zashi shouted, a flicker of defiance in his eyes.

He began forming hand seals, gathering chakra. "Fire Style: Majestic Destroyer Flame!"

A massive torrent of flames erupted from his mouth, threatening to consume everything in its path.

Hiruzen leapt into the air, employing *Geppo* to evade the inferno.

He sailed high above the chaos, surveying the battlefield like a hawk.

With a swift motion, he activated *Soru*, dashing toward Zashi at blinding speed.

"You can even fly?!" Zashi gasped, caught off guard. But he quickly regained his composure, swinging his fiery blade as Hiruzen closed in.

Hiruzen's mastery of the new *Body Flicker* technique allowed him to evade Zashi's sword effortlessly.

He redirected the force of the strike, using Zashi's momentum against him.

"Rokugan!!" Hiruzen shouted, delivering a devastating blow.

**Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!** Each strike landed with catastrophic force, sending Zashi flying through the trees.

He crashed through ten trunks before coming to a halt, embedded in the ground, battered and broken.

Hiruzen approached, his presence an unyielding force. He lifted Zashi by the throat, locking eyes with him.

"I wouldn't have made an example of you if you hadn't challenged my authority. You've underestimated me."

Zashi struggled against Hiruzen's grip, fury and desperation battling within him. "You think you've won? This isn't over!"

"It is over," Hiruzen replied coldly, twisting Zashi's neck with a swift motion.

He tossed the defeated man aside as if he were nothing more than a discarded puppet.

Turning his back on Zashi, Hiruzen walked toward the gathering village shinobi, his confidence radiating authority.

As he moved, his waist-length black hair flowed in the wind, and his scorched robes began to transform, taking on a new form.

A sleek black pant materialized, His feet adorned white sandals, and his nails were polished black. A half white - half black robe formed around his torso, split in an "A" shape from the waist down.

A Taichi symbol, appeared on the back of his robe. This was an exclusive robe Hiruzen had designed matching his Hokage attire.

"In two days, there will be a village meeting at the Hokage Tower," Hiruzen announced, his voice calm yet commanding, echoing through the clearing.

Hiruzen spoke softly into the air, "Flame." A ninja promptly appeared, kneeling before him.

"Clean up this mess and take control of the ANBU. Report to me by tomorrow," Hiruzen instructed, his tone sharp and resolute.

"Yes, Lord Hokage," the ninja replied with a nod. In a flash, Hiruzen vanished, heading toward Hokage Mountain.

The ANBU began to disperse, executing their orders with precision.

As Hiruzen disappeared, hushed conversations erupted among the remaining Jonin, their voices laced with awe and disbelief.

"Hokage-sama was like a god," one Uchiha Jonin remarked, shaking his head in amazement. "He dispatched Zashi in just two moves. He didn't even take him seriously."

"Did you see that Taijutsu? I've never seen anything like it before," another Jonin chimed in, his voice filled with excitement. "I need to learn that technique for myself!"

These discussions buzzed through the ranks of shinobi, igniting a sense of fervor among the Chunin who had been watching from the shadows.

"Hiruzen-sensei… he's become something else entirely," one Chunin breathed, wide-eyed. "I didn't think he had this kind of power."

"Yeah, but… what does it mean?" another Chunin pondered aloud, his expression turning serious. "He's changed, and I'm not sure if that's a good thing."

Across the village, word of Hiruzen's new look and overwhelming display of strength spread like wildfire.

His transformation and dominance over Zashi left an indelible impression, both awe-inspiring and intimidating.

Meanwhile, Hiruzen sat atop Hokage Mountain, resting against the stone carving of his likeness.

The wind whispered around him, carrying the scents of the village below. He stared out over Konoha, lost in thought.

The calm surface of the village belied the storm brewing within him.

Hiruzen contemplated the balance of power, the threads of ambition and loyalty weaving through the village like an intricate tapestry.

He felt the burden of his decisions weighing heavily on him.

The landscape below was peaceful, but he knew darkness lurked in the hearts of men.

His confrontation with Zashi was merely a skirmish in a much larger battle, one that would determine the fate of Konoha.

What would his next move be? Hiruzen thought about the village meeting ahead, the various clan leaders and Jonin he would have to confront.

Would they rally behind him, or would fear overshadow their loyalty?

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows over the village, Hiruzen found himself at a crossroads.

He could feel the pulse of Konoha beneath him, a living entity with its own desires and fears.

He had to protect it, but at what cost? Would the power he now wielded serve as a shield or a sword?

The transformation he had undergone was not merely physical; it was a metamorphosis of purpose.

The village needed a leader who could navigate the treacherous waters ahead, one who could unite the clans and strengthen their resolve against any threat.

Hiruzen closed his eyes, centering himself. The weight of his responsibilities surged within him, igniting a fierce determination. He would not fail Konoha.

Suddenly, a presence disrupted his thoughts. A figure materialized behind him, stepping into the fading light.

It was one of his trusted advisers, their face etched with concern.

"Hokage-sama," the adviser began, hesitating. "The village is restless after what they witnessed today. They're speaking of your newfound power, and some… some feel threatened."

Hiruzen opened his eyes, turning to face the adviser.

"Let them feel threatened. They need to understand that I will protect this village at all costs. I won't shy away from my responsibilities."

"But what if they view you as a tyrant?" the adviser pressed, concern evident in their voice. "We need their trust to maintain order."

"Trust is built through strength," Hiruzen replied, his voice firm.

"I will show them that my intentions are for the greater good. They must understand that unity and strength are intertwined, and that I am here to guide them."

The adviser nodded slowly, absorbing Hiruzen's words. "Then we must act quickly, Hokage-sama. The meeting is crucial. We need to address their concerns head-on."

Hiruzen straightened, the weight of leadership settling upon him like armor.

"You're right. We'll call for the meeting sooner than planned. I will lay bare my vision for Konoha and the strength we will cultivate together."

With renewed resolve, Hiruzen turned his gaze back to the village below.

The lights began to flicker on as night enveloped Konoha, a sea of warmth against the cool darkness.

He could feel the pulse of his home—the laughter, the struggles, the dreams that thrived within its walls.

"We will forge a new path, one that acknowledges our strengths and prepares us for the future," Hiruzen declared, determination blazing in his eyes.

"No one will stand against me unchallenged. I will make them bow to me." he thought silently.

As the night deepened, Hiruzen felt a sense of purpose swell within him. The upcoming meeting would not merely be a display of authority; it would be a call to arms for unity.

He would show the villagers that he was their leader.

"We will face whatever threats come our way, together," Hiruzen said, looking back at the adviser.

"Prepare the scrolls and notify the clan leaders. It's time they see the new era I envision for Konoha."

With a nod, the adviser rushed off to execute Hiruzen's orders. Alone once more, Hiruzen took a deep breath, grounding himself in the moment.

In the quiet of the night, he could hear the faint whispers of the village, its heartbeat steady and unwavering.

He smiled to himself, knowing that he would prosper the village at all costs.
