Konoha.
Death Forest Tower.
"Hey, Shikamaru, what's the deal with all these people gathered outside?"
Ino, Shikamaru and Choji also arrived near the tower and as just when they were about to exit the jungle, Ino spotted Gojo and others, and pulled Shikamaru and Choji behind a bush.
"How could I know, let's go inside...I'm tired"
"Just stay here and listen to what they're saying."
Shikamaru wanted to leave, but Ino stopped him and forced him to sit while she picked up her ears, as did Shikamaru and Choji because they had nothing else to do.

"You go ahead, I've got something to say to Sasuke."
Gojo pulled out the Earth Scroll and tossed it towards Neji.
When Gojo saw Sasuke's power hungry gaze, he realized he needed to talk to him or things would quickly spin out of control.
Sasuke was a student he had taught for almost a year, and he held him in the same regard as Yuji, Fushiguro, and Nobara.
He couldn't just stand by and watch as darkness and the need for vengeance overtook Sasuke.
"Satoru___"
*Bang*
"Shut up and follow me, Naruto."
Naruto grew intrigued about what Gojo intended to say to Sasuke and was going to ask, but Sakura stopped him with a hit to the head.
"Sakura-Chan!!"
Sakura dragged Naruto from his ears, who groaned in pain, but she didn't care and went inside, dragging him with her.
Neji, seeing Gojo's solemn expression, resolved to settle their dispute later and went inside with Lee.
"What do you want?"
When Gojo and Sasuke were alone, the latter glanced at the former with chilly eyes and inquired.
"You know, Sasuke, even if I only teach someone for a minute, I consider him a student of mine."
"Do you understand why I chose to teach you?"
"Isn't it for money?"
"…."
Sasuke responded without thinking, leaving Gojo stunned.
"Well, you can say that, but do you truly believe I needed money from you with my strength?"
But Gojo was the Strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer, so this minor setback didn't deter him from speaking with Sasuke.
Hearing his remarks, Sasuke went into serious meditation, and the more he thought about it, the more puzzled he became.
Yes, with Gojo's strength, if he really desired money, he could have earned a lot more by other means.
Sasuke gazed at Gojo, not saying anything, but Gojo could see the confusion in his eyes.
"Aren't you curious? then let me tell you a story"
"Story?"
Sasuke stared at Gojo, puzzled, because he didn't have time to listen to a story and wanted to know the true reason.
But before he could say anything, Gojo had already begun narrating the story, and the first line had piqued his interest.
"This is the story of two boys, one born into a prestigious Clan and the other into an ordinary family."
"The one born into a prestigious Clan was always referred to as a genius, and everyone had high hopes of him, but he didn't disappoint them and continued to improve."
"The one born ordinary did not want to remain ordinary, so he worked hard and began to improve himself."
"Perhaps fate had this planned; both the ordinary and genius boys met and quickly became good friends."
Gojo spoke as emotion appeared in his eyes beneath the blindfold, which Sasuke couldn't see.
His attention was completely focused on the story, and he couldn't wait to find out what occurred next.
"They quickly became best friends and vowed to fight foes together and keep the world safe."
"The ordinary boy struggled to keep up with the genius boy, but as time passed, the genius boy left him far behind and became the world's strongest, hehe."
"The ordinary boy was not envious of his friend's success, but rather glad for him."
"However, as time passed, the ordinary boy began to change and intended to destroy the world, which they had both pledged to protect."
"The genius boy tried to persuade his friend, but he didn't listen to him and was stubborn on destroying the world, unconcerned about his previous vows."
"The ordinary boy left, breaching all pledges he made to the genius boy, and soon began wreaking havoc all over the world."
"The genius boy who witnessed all of this had just two options"
"What choices?"
At this point, Gojo abruptly came to a halt as Sasuke inquired urgently, not wanting the story to end on a cliffhanger.
"One was to join his old friend and help him destroy the world, and the other was..."
"Was?"
At this point, Gojo came to a halt again as Sasuke glanced at him, his eyes telling him how much he wanted to know what occurred next.
"I won't tell you today..., but you should have already figured out why I taught you?"
"You!!"
Gojo paused at the cliffhanger like some awful fanfiction writer, and Sasuke, who was furious at him for leaving it hanging at the last second, was startled to hear the latter part of his sentence as he stared at him, speechless.
"Yes!!, you're like that ordinary boy who wants to throw everything for his goal, whether it's his friends or his village..."
Gojo turned around, preparing to enter the tower, but after a few steps, he paused and stated it again.
"However, keep in mind that the genius boy is always keeping an eye on you..."
Sigh...
"Will he make a different choice this time?"
Sasuke felt cold all over as he could only look at the back of Gojo and didn't came back to his senses until he disappeared completely.
Shikamaru and the other two were hiding behind the bushes as Ino was crying and Shikamaru's expression was tense.
