We were running for a while and I was alert because my instincts were screaming that something was going to happen.

My Byakugan, which I worked hard to modify, weren't that useful in this situation. Although they can help me see better in the mist, they still use chakra and I didn't want to use up more chakra and die in combat.

It confirmed one thing, that the enemy wasn't just trying to attack some random kumogakure ninja, but were targeting me.

They decided not to give me time to think, I had 5 kunai and numerous shuriken flying towards me from all directions.

With the help of the Byakugan, I dodged many, but still got hit by some shuriken and a kunai stabbing my thigh.

I was at a complete disadvantage as I didn't even know who the enemy is or where he is. My enemy was rich, because now they still continued throwing kunais at me.

I dodged them while in pain. I wasn't in the right mind to even think properly. The pain was messing with my brain and didn't let me think properly.

I had another kunai coming towards me from behind. I dodged it by moving to the side and the water I was standing on, erupted.

I was already loosing strength due to the blood loss and the chakra I was using to stay on water. The explosion only made it worse for me to continue fighting.

I wasn't given time to even stand, as a kunai was sent flying in my direction when I was in air.

I mustered up strength and swung my sword on time to defend myself. I needed time to get myself ready to fight.

I made some hand signs and took a deep breathe. I blew out a flame ball. It was the Fire release: Great Fireball Jutsu.

I still didn't know the location of my enemy, so I aimed the fireball jutsu on the water surface, to release water vapour again.

I increased the mist around me for a moment and used the mist as a cover to dive underwater. I needed time to strategize and organize my thoughts.

I didn't go underwater normally, I used the cliche ninja technique of using a bamboo pipe for air.

The first thing I did was pull out all the shuriken and kunai from my body. Although it was a foolish move to remove them, they would hinder my movements.

Next, I needed a strategy. Since I was able to think peacefully underwater, it meant that they don't have a clear view of me in the mist.

The main problem for me is that I don't have the location of the enemy. Locating them is the first important thing, second would obviously be to inform Yugito of my situation.

Next problem is my chakra. I had to use chakra carefully as I only had around 50% of my chakra left. That meant that using jutsu other than lightning release would drain my chakra faster.

But using lightning release also wasn't a good idea, as the lightning release jutsu can cause electrolysis of water to produce H2 gas and then a single explosive tag was enough.

We were taught this in academy to fight against Water release users. Just when I was thinking about a good plan, my enemy decided to foil my plans again.

They proved me wrong that they can't see me. I was moving underwater in a certain direction. That's when I felt change in water currents.

Usually, when anyone is underwater, they don't feel the movements of the waves that much. It only meant that something was wrong.

And to prove me right, I saw a water current move towards me in the shape of a dragon. I wasn't in a shape to swim away or do anything.

I took the attack head on, and the pain wasn't something I could describe in words. The dragon shaped water current was flowing at high speeds.

I was hoping the dragon would send me in a direction where I could at least move away from the enemy to recover, or send me closer to them and give me the chance to locate them with my Byakugan.

But no. The dragon started swirling around a centre and just kept hitting me with high speed waters while spinning me around.

The enemy sure was playing around with me and that wasn't something I like. No one looks down at me.

The rage inside me gave me the strength to ignore the pain and plan ahead. After 2 minutes of complete concentration and my body, whose chakra levels had decreased to 40%, I was ready with my plan.

I had explosive tags in a waterproof pouch attached to my thigh. I ignited them inside the pouch and just let them flow out of the pouch due to the current around me.

The ignited explosive tags soon spread all over the whirlpool created by the water dragon and BOOM.

I wanted to say "Art is an explosion" but wasn't in mood to do so. My body was being thrown around by the explosions.

I thought to myself in pain "I could have escaped from there using the Flying thunder God technique, with the remaining chakra I had.

I don't know what happened to me that changed me this much. Immediately when the thought came to my mind, Aki's, T and G's, and Yugito's face flashed before my eyes.

When did I start becoming this emotional?" questioning myself.

Note:- I had a plan for the future where he learns two sword style from a person. What are your opinions on this. And also, I started researching on this, but all I found were moves where the user sends out slashes in the shape of an 'X'. Do you guys have any ideas.
