"Ding~ Ding~ Ding~"
"Sis, how about we stop playing?"
Half an hour later, Nawaki looked at Tsunade, who was losing control after losing, and advised, while Tatsuma also spat out a mouthful of saliva.
Playing cards with Tsunade allowed him to quickly pick up talents, and Tsunade lived up to her nickname of "Big Fat Sheep." Tatsuma could usually pick up at least 4 points of talents like with his spar with Nawaki, but with Tsunade they range from 6 to 9 points.
Moreover, it seemed endless. In three years, Tatsuma found that the talents that everyone could drop every day were actually limited.
Just like Minato, even if Tatsuma kept winning, in one day, he could only brush up about a hundred points of talents. After all, playing against Minato required hands-on practice, and it wasn't so efficient.
The speed at which he realized talents was far from the speed of adding talent upper limits. Therefore, he didn't feel that the number of talent upper limits picked up every day was low. Of course, in reality, due to the duration of the game and the win-loss record, Tatsuma couldn't pick up so many, but it was enough to satisfy him.
However, Tsunade seems different. In the combined time of the incident a few days ago and today's, it wouldn't exceed two hours. Yet Tatsuma has picked up over 200 points of talent upper limit from her, which is almost equivalent to Tatsuma's entire harvest over four or five days in the past.
At this speed, Tatsuma should feel very happy, but feeling the slight overflow of killing intent from Tsunade, Tatsuma felt that he could die at any moment.
"Humph! Are you saying I can't afford to lose?!" Tsunade glared at her brother
Nawaki trembled and dared not speak. Tsunade threw down the cards in her hand, walked to the side, and started doing her push-ups.
This momentarily eased Tatsuma's tension, and he couldn't help but fantasize. If Tsunade had a better personality, She has the potential of becoming a talent points making machine, and applying some changes to the bets could make it even more effective by avoiding making Tsunade waste time doing push-ups.
With Tsunade's luck in gambling, betting for 16 hours every day, Tatsuma speculates that he would quickly raise his talents to the Jonin level. Unfortunately, that's just a hypothetical. Tsunade's personality is not as amiable as Nawaki or Minato. After finishing the push-ups, she sat back in her chair with a stern face, pointed to the table, and said, "Let's go again!"
Speaking, she gathered the cards with both hands and skillfully began shuffling them. Just as Tatsuma and the others nervously took the cards, their savior finally arrived.
"I heard that Monkey Hiruzen asked you to teach these two kids Medical Ninjutsu, right?"
"Grandma!"
Nawaki jumped up as if he's seen a savior, and Tsunade hurriedly hid the cards in her sleeves.
Mito looked at Tsunade's reaction and helplessly said, "I saw everything."
Only then did Tsunade extended her hand from her sleeve, but still kept her head down, not daring to meet her grandmother's gaze.
Tatsuma and Minato also put down their cards and bowed to Mito, saying, "Mito-sama."
Mito waved her hand and looked back at Jiraiya and Kushina. Then she said, "Jiraiya, if you have other tasks, you can leave first. I will take care of these two kids."
Jiraiya nodded and said, "Alright, Mito-sama. Thank you. I'll take my leave now."
Mito waved her hand, and Jiraiya quickly slipped away, avoiding eye contact with Tsunade. After Jiraiya left, Mito walked to the table, picked up two poker cards, rubbed them, and then said:
"Restricting you like this doesn't seem to be effective. How about this, from now on, in the morning, Tatsuma and Minato, you two, along with Kushina, will study Sealing Jutsu with me. Tsunade, you'll practice on your own. In the afternoon, you'll teach them Medical Ninjutsu. After dinner, I can let you play cards for a while. How does that sound?"
Tsunade looked up, incredulously asking, "Grandma, are you for real?"
"If I don't let you play, you'll do it secretly anyway, and you'll be daydreaming about it. It's been half a year, and there's been no progress. I agreed to let you play now, but if you still haven't made progress, don't blame me for not giving you another chance in the future."
"I will definitely learn quickly!"
Tsunade excitedly exclaimed. Mito then looked at Tatsuma and Minato, asking, "What do you think?"
"Thank you, Mito-sama."
Tatsuma naturally couldn't refuse, and he was very excited. During the day, he could learn and exercise, and at night, he could improve his talents. With Mito overseeing, absurd situations like Tsunade losing and getting angry to the point of beating them wouldn't occur.
"Thank you, Mito-sama."
Minato was also slightly excited, but he glanced several times at the pouting Kushina with clear displeasure on her face.
The reactions of the few people were all noticed by Mito. She nodded in satisfaction. The only regret was that it seemed Tatsuma didn't care at all about Kushina.
"Well, what about me? Grandma, I also need to train with Tatsuma."
At this point, Nawaki voiced his grievances. His chakra level was not sufficient to support learning Sealing Jutsu, his Chakra Control was a mess, and he couldn't learn Medical Ninjutsu either. Orochimaru was still on a mission, and with no one to guide him, was he supposed to entertain himself until Orochimaru returned to the village?
"It's okay, Nawaki. I have a morning training routine. You can wake up early and train with us."
Tatsuma smiled and said, and Nawaki nodded, asking, "What time do you usually do your morning training?"
Tatsuma glanced at Minato, and Minato nodded, saying, "We usually gather for training at five, but if we're here, it will be around five-thirty."
Upon hearing this, Mito added, "I will start teaching you at nine."
Nawaki scratched his head, then gritted his teeth and said, "Five-thirty? Then I'll start waking up earlier from now on!"
Mito glanced at Kushina and asked, "Kushina, do you want to join them for morning training?"
"Five-thirty is too early, isn't it?" Kushina said with a bit of hesitation.
Mito showed a kind smile and said, "Then you can sleep a little later. After all, you don't have to worry about being surpassed by Tatsuma and Minato. You're already their defeated underling."
"Grandma Mito!" Kushina pouted, then stomped her foot, saying, "It's just five-thirty, right? I can wake up too!"
Tatsuma looked at Mito in amazement. He hadn't expected that Mito would also be a master of wit and humor, and her skills seemed to be even stronger than his.
At this moment, Nawaki looked at Tatsuma and said, "Why don't you guys move in? That way, you can get an extra half-hour of sleep."
Tatsuma shook his head and smiled, saying, "No need. A half-hour run is just a good warm-up."
"Yeah, we can't cause too much trouble," Minato added, showing a sunny and warm smile. Mito squinted slightly at the two, expressing her fondness for them. Compared to Tsunade and Nawaki, these two kids were much cuter and easier to manage.
She glanced at Nawaki and Kushina again, further understanding why Nawaki and Kushina had lost to Tatsuma and Minato. This dedication and enthusiasm were something Nawaki and Kushina lacked.
"It's about nine o'clock now. If you two have nothing else, shall we start our lesson?" Mito asked.
Upon hearing this, Tatsuma and Minato quickly nodded. Tatsuma said, "Thank you for your guidance."
"Alright."
Uzumaki Mito turned around and walked towards the inner room, saying as she walked, "Later, show me the Sealing Jutsu you learned from that Jiraiya kid. His skills are average, so I hope he didn't lead you astray."
Tatsuma and Minato dared not speak. Only Mito had the authority to comment on Jiraiya's Sealing Jutsu skills. As his students, it was better for them to remain silent.
