CH03 : Yuichi and System

Yuichi clicked on various parts of the things in the status screen and tried to get the information out of it. 

He clicked at the rank stat to know about it a little and a new status screen with its detailed information popped up. 

It explained to Yuichi that F rank was for normal people, E for ninja academy students, D for Genins, C for Chunins, B for special Jonins, A for Jonins, S for Kage level, etc. it was also mentioned that each rank has three levels within respectively. 

After learning about the most important part of the status window, Yuichi looked at his Affinities, bloodline and abilities section. He clicked all of them one by one and went through the information given in them. 

In affinities he got to know that lightning was his original affinity whereas the yin and wind were the ones he gained after getting the bloodline. 

As for the bloodline it didn't show much except a little brief introduction of it mentioning that it gives the user phantom-like movement and lightning strikes.

Lastly, Yuichi went through the abilities that he had one by one. 

[ Phantom steps:  give the body of the user intangibility and invisibility. No physical and chakra attack will harm the user. Once invisible the life energy, presence, chakra signature and the existence of the user will also disappear. 

The ability can be used partially by accessing either tangibility or invisibility and according to it the chakra consumption will change. However, Mind attacks are still effective. 

Costs 60% of the chakra pool's chakra from the user for every time of activation. Meanwhile 40% will be consumed for partial usage of ability.

Users must have B rank in chakra and C in perception to use the ability. 

The duration, capabilities and cost will vary according to user's experience over ability. ]

[ Lightning Enhancement: gives the user the ability to enhance the body's performance by using lightning chakra's boost. 

Costs 8% of the chakra pool's chakra from the user for every time of activation. 

Users must have D rank intelligence to use it. 

The enhancement, power, duration and cost will vary according to users' experience over ability. ]

Both abilities were of Yuichi's liking however both of them were very chakra exhausting and were of no use for him currently. 

But still he was happy with his rewards, the childlike self of Yuichi had a high control over his mind, thus resulting in his childlike actions on various things. 

'It felt very good living a peaceful life' 

Yuichi thought in his hand as he was lying back in his bed after changing the clothes, he was ready to sleep as he felt exhausted with various things that he did all night. 

Due to exhaustion he fell asleep quickly, however his peaceful sleep was short lived as his clock rang loudly at 7 o'clock.

Academy timing was 8 am to 4 pm with morning classes from 8 am to 11 am focusing on the academic part and the latter half focusing on ninja studies. 

Yuichi halfheartedly prepared himself and his morning breakfast, just like usual, and made his way to the academy. 

The academy was only off on Sundays and today was Monday, the first day of the week. He felt heartache looking at the calendar, but there was nothing he could do. 

He let the adult self of his take some action and forced himself to do things.

Reaching the classroom which was packed with more than 50 students, Yuichi made his way to his seat which was on the left corner at the last bench. 

This wasn't an assigned seat but a seat he chose himself because he was a loner, more correctly his previous self. Although a hunter/ hitman he had a lot of experience in dealing with conversations but he decided to remain loner right as gaining strength was his first priority. 

The strength of the class was 72 students and there were 3 classes like this.

 It's been 3 years with him being in this class and he was still among the worst performers in the worst performing class. 

The classes were divided according to the talents and performance of students. Thus the sannins were not in his class, heck not even a single clan children were present in this class. 

Yuichi didn't feel bad for it as this will give him time to build up his strength in silence and learn more about his bloodline and abilities. 

He continued his daily life silently but just added a few things more to catch up in places where he left behind. 

After the classes, Yuichi went to the library section of the academy, he was here for the very first time in his whole life and this was the case for more than 90% of the students. 

The academy was vast, so was the library. There were clear different sections for each thing that students may need. 

Although he didn't have much expectations from the information here, by no means they provide high ranking things in the academy to train ninjas. But still beginner level information still does well with it.

After verifying his identity in the main gate Yuichi went to the basic ninja information first, after reading 3 books about the knowledge, he got a little grasp over the job and what ninjas have to do. 

After that Yuichi went to the books about medical ninjutsu and fuinjutsu, he wasn't able to read much about it as the time was already up. 

The outside was dark, so he decided to take the book home but after asking the librarian he got to know that he can only take 1 book one day and have to return it before taking the new one. 

Yuichi agreed with the conditions and after doing some easy formalities decided to take the book for fuinjutsu home.
