Chapter 68 Shouhe Cried, I Don't Want To Be One Tail Anymore

"Go out? I advise you not to seek death! Someone is collecting the Tailed Beasts to resurrect the Ten Tails. Stupid civet cat, I'm so sorry! You, the One Tail, are their first target."

After Nine Tails finished speaking, he felt much better. The corners of his long fox-like mouth curled into a wicked smile.

Shukaku, who had been gathering Chakra to break through the seal, froze in place like a duck suddenly choked by its neck.

"Re-resurrect the Ten Tails?? Stupid fox, stop talking nonsense! How is that even possible? You must be lying to me!"

Shukaku swallowed imaginary saliva, stiffly questioning what he had just heard. How could it be possible to resurrect the Ten Tails? Its body had been sealed on the moon. To revive it, you'd need to bring its body back to the ninja world. But that would be nearly impossible... The body sealed by the Sage of Six Paths shouldn't be easily unsealed.

"Believe it or not! All I can tell you is that one of them is Uchiha Madara. And there are enemies even stronger than the Sage of Six Paths. You foolish civet cat... It's too dark in here, so I'm heading back."

Nine Tails threw out another big revelation, glanced disdainfully at the collapsing sealed space, transformed into Chakra, and quickly retreated.

"Shukaku, if you want to know more, feel free to come and talk... If you still want to go out, we don't care! After all, Kurama is the last Tailed Beast to be revived."

Naruto laughed and returned to his own sealed space with Nine Tails.

"Uchiha Madara? Wasn't that terrifying guy already dead? And worse enemies than the Sage of Six Paths?? Ugh... Why am I only a One Tail?! That stupid fox is so irritating!"

After Naruto and Nine Tails left, Shukaku stared at the broken crack in the seal with frustration and roared angrily. But deep down, Shukaku was too afraid to break the seal, fearing he might end up getting swallowed by the Ten Tails if he did.

"Hmph, it's not because I'm scared! I'm just curious, that's all..."

After struggling for a while, Shukaku muttered to himself, trying to save face. Through his connection with Naruto, a small portion of his Chakra entered Naruto's body.

Naruto's Sealed Space

"Uzumaki Naruto, I didn't expect us to be the same. You're also a Jinchūriki! So, why are you looking for me?" As soon as Naruto's consciousness appeared, Gaara eagerly stepped forward, excited. It was the first time Gaara had met another Jinchūriki, so naturally, she was excited!

"Don't worry. Wait for your companion," Naruto said, patting Gaara on the shoulder, signaling him to stay calm.

"Companion? Companion... How could I have something like that..."

Gaara's expression darkened instantly. Tears welled up in her eyes as memories of hatred and bloodlust flashed by, and she scoffed at herself.

"Well, not here," Naruto said indifferently, pointing at the approaching Shukaku with a smirk.

"Shukaku?" Gaara's stern expression changed when he saw the little civet cat, his gaze turning peculiar.

"Damn... Why is the environment in the fox's sealed space so nice? I'm so mad!"

The small form of Shukaku, drawn from One Tail's Chakra, looked around at the blue sky, white clouds, trees, and fields, filled with both envy and indignation.

At that moment, Shukaku finally understood why Nine Tails said his own sealed space was too dark. The fox's place was more like a vacation spot! Who would ever want to leave this kind of setup?

"Stupid fox, kid, what you said earlier—was it true? What exactly is going on?" Shukaku spat, glaring fiercely at both Nine Tails and Naruto. He didn't even bother acknowledging Gaara, who stood next to Naruto.

"Don't worry. Let's watch the footage... Uh, I mean, future information," Naruto said, inviting both Shukaku and Gaara to sit down. He stretched out his fist in front of them.

"What is this...?" Shukaku's expression changed. He looked at Naruto in surprise, speaking aloud. How did he know about this unique method of communication between Tailed Beasts?

But Shukaku quickly realized it must have been the stupid fox who told Naruto about it. Curious about the future that Naruto mentioned, Shukaku placed his paw on Naruto's fist.

Seeing this, Nine Tails extended his own fist.

Gaara, meanwhile, stood there stunned by the actions of the two beasts and the boy.

"Come on, Gaara..." Naruto urged. Without Gaara's cooperation, they wouldn't be able to continue.

'Future information?' Gaara's eyes flickered with curiosity as she slowly reached out and placed her fist alongside the others.

The moment their fists met, Naruto, Kurama, Shukaku, and Gaara were transported into an illusionary world.

"Here we are, Sunagakure!" Gaara exclaimed in surprise, recognizing the familiar scene below them.

"What is that?" Shukaku pointed to a giant white bird flying in the sky, asking with confusion.

"Just watch! This is your future battlefield," Naruto explained as they observed the illusory scene.

Even Nine Tails, who was seeing this for the first time, stared with curiosity, his large vertical pupils focused on the scene.

The giant white bird dropped bombs on Sunagakure, shaking the village violently. The elders, along with Temari and Kankuro, were seen organizing defenses and planning a counterattack. Just as Gaara wondered why she wasn't part of the action, a young man wearing the Kazekage's white robes and a Kazekage hat appeared.

"How... How is this possible?" Gaara and Shukaku both shouted in disbelief. The person they saw was an older version of Gaara—Fifth Kazekage Gaara.

"You guys stand back; I'll handle this!" Kazekage Gaara shouted as he stretched out his hand, forming a massive sand arm to grab at the enemy.

"It's really me! But how could I be the Kazekage? How can someone like me protect those disgusting people?" Gaara muttered to herself in a daze, staring at her trembling hands.

Shukaku, standing next to her, had a similarly shocked expression. He knew Gaara better than anyone, having battled her for control of their body. How could that little brat become such a powerful figure?

But no matter how much they doubted, the scene continued. After several battles, Kazekage Gaara enraged the enemies above. They responded by dropping larger bombs on Sunagakure. To protect the villagers, Kazekage Gaara unleashed his full power, covering the entire village with a massive sand shield. Despite the successive explosions, not a single villager was harmed.

However, the effort drained all of Gaara's Chakra, and she was captured by the enemy.

"Lord Kazekage! Lord Kazekage!" The cries of the villagers snapped Gaara out of her daze.

While Gaara was lost in thought, Shukaku was far from calm. As the scene shifted, the body of the Ten Tails appeared before them, and in the center stood a figure with the Rinnegan.

Shukaku immediately realized the source of the Ten Tails' body. The vision continued, showing how Shukaku was absorbed and became the first Tailed Beast to revive the Ten Tails. Watching himself being swallowed up was a horrifying experience for Shukaku, making him feel utterly miserable.

Being a Tailed Beast was hard—especially for One Tail. It's just too unlucky.

"I don't want to be One Tail anymore..." Shukaku thought, his face gloomy as tears welled up in his heart.
