The next morning, Shun woke up to find Hinami still being cuddled by him. He moved out of bed carefully without disturbing Hinami and went toward the door to go toward the kitchen to prepare something for Hinami, only to discover that he wasn't in his house.

Creating a clone to stand in for him just in case, he teleported to his dimension to put together a quick meal. Not that there wouldn't be breakfast provided but out of habit and desire, he still wanted to make a quick one, even if the quantity is little.

A short while later, Shun appeared with a small plate of food and released his clone. Creating a small side table, he placed the plate on it and put it by the side while intending to wait for Hinami to wake on her own.

He sat down on the bed, watching the sleeping Hinami, Shun let out a smile at how peaceful she looked.

It was unknown how long had passed. Shun was awoken from his daze by a soft noise, "Mmm"

"Nami-chan," he called out as he bent Iver and gave her a peck on the lips. "Good morning dear"

"Hm... Shun dear, good morning" she replied, still in a daze.

"How are you feeling?" He asked.

"Hmm?" She tilted her head sideways in confusion for a moment before she woke up from her daze and attempted to ait up but a stinging pain ran through her body halting her movement as she screamed softly. "I feel sore"

"Hmm" Shun replied without saying much, only smiling gently at her.

"And it's all your fault," she said again this time in fake anger.

Shun chuckled lightly and said, "I'm sorry. But I do remember a certain someone telling me to keep going at it last night" Shun continued with a teasing smile.

"Hmph" Hinami snorted and turned her head to the side blushing.

It was as though an invisible arrow pierced Shun's heart at the sight of how cute Hinami looked at the moment.

"Sorry, sorry. I'm in the wrong alright? Look here, I brought you your favorite breakfast" Shun said, bringing up the already prepared meal he set aside and placed it in front of her in a comfortable posture.

Hinami immediately brightened up as she caught sight of the food. If there was anything that could make her switch moods instantly, then one of them was Shun's cooking.

Although she was quite pleased, she said, "Hmph, As you've acknowledged your wrong by preparing this, this young miss will let you off, for now, be pleased"

"Yes, yes my princess" Shun said playing along with her with a smile on his face.

She immediately began devouring the food in front of her without placing much thought on her image, after all, in front of Shun, there was no need for that, keeping image, that is.

As she ate Shun didn't interrupt her and just watched in silence till she ate the last piece.

"Phew, that was delicious as always dear, if you keep this up, I may not be able to eat any other food except yours" Hinami complimented as she finished.

"Haha, that won't be a problem dear, after all, I'm not going anywhere" Shun replied, pleased at the compliment.

They exchanged some small talk with Shun teasing her about the night before until Hinami's eyes fell on the ring on her finger that she didn't even notice until she looked at it.

"Dear, about this ring, what does it do." She asked.

"Why does it have to do anything? Can't I give you something from my heart as a gift?" Shun asked with fake sadness.

"Hmph, cut it out, dear, I've been with you for three years and I know you don't give gifts from the kindness of your heart" Hinami replied without skipping a beat.

"Kuh, that hurt dearie, first off, I give gifts from the goodness of my heart, it's just that my gifts have sophisticated purposes behind them. Don't misunderstand" Shun said.

"Sure, sure, whatever you tell yourself. Now, about the ring"

"Yeah. Well, the ring was created after I went through many trials and errors, I had to spend days com-" Shun began exaggerating as he began to explain before he was interrupted.

"Shun dear?"

"Hmm"

"I know that's not how it went, just the effects will do"

Shun visibly deflated and mumbled, "spoilsport, hmph"

"Hmm? Did you say something dear?"

"Not at all. Now about the ring, their effects are numerous, I had the idea to let you discover them yourself but since you so graciously asked, I will tell you. The ring was made from metal I created, which I call adamantium, and the crystal too. In it, I placed different seals with different purposes."

"One is that no matter how far we are from each other, as far as there is a trace of chakra, we can always find each other."

"Two is that we can always use each other's chakra no matter how far we are, meaning that no matter how much chakra you waste, you don't have to worry as my chakra will be exhausted cause my chakra is inexhaustible"

"Thirdly and most importantly, there are Jutsus sealed inside, my Jutsus, you just have to study them and know what they do so that you can always use them when necessary".

"Now those are not the dangerous kind of Jutsus, just the household Justus teleportation jutsus"

"The crystal holds all the chakra currently and also the chakra you'd siphon from me. The ring works similarly to a circuit and currently, it is attached to your chakra pathways and with your spiritual energy, you can study the jutsus"

"What do you think?" Shun asked. Pride could be seen oozing out of him. Seen. Not feel. To Shun, this creation was similar to the live-saving treasures cultivators own and he replicated it, No, he created his very own version of it. With this, he could further perfect it by combining some simple engineering with cultivation principles to create artifacts or something similar. He could even create training grounds for different purposes in form of a tower or dimension.

"Its... Great, I think. From the way you explained it, I can imagine how important it is or more like will be in the future" Hinami replied in uncertainty.

Shun looked aghast at her response, how could she not see the importance of sure an artifact? This could be world-changing if put in some world.

'Sigh, maybe it's because she doesn't know what I know.' Shun thought.

Thinking of this, he released a wreath and put on his smile once more, and said, "Well, at least with this, we can be said to be an immortal couple, don't you think?"

"Hmm? Now that I think about it, Yeah, we are." Hinaminsaid in sudden realization.

"But that doesn't mean you should stop practicing, I would want us being together to be as a result of the ring. I want it to be due to our ability" Shun said with a serious expression.

"Un, of course" Hinami nodded, taking it seriously too.

After that, they talked some more before they were interrupted by a maid calling them out for creakyasr, but Shun went alone as Hinami was indisposed.

During the meal, the whole family was gathered, Hagoromo, Hamura and his wife, Hokuki, Indra, Ashura, and their wives. Of all of us youngsters, only Hokuki was still single.

Shun excused Hinami on the ground of her exhausted from yesterday's festivities. They all gave understanding nods, but Shun could feel they thought otherwise.

They talked at length about some casual things while keeping the atmosphere harmonious. Even Indra wasn't being his usual moody self.

Shun wanted to speak privately with Hanami concerning Educating Hinami on the dos and don'ts In a marriage.

'I mean, I could do it but be told by your mother as well as a fellow woman got to count as something right?' Shun thought.

After the meal and discussions, everyone went on their way to do their own things. Shun asked to speak to Hanami about Hinami so he got her full attention.

After the talk, Shun left quite embarrassed as although this was in the ancient era, women were still women and he got teased a lot by Hanami during their talk. Hanami did promise to educate Hinami properly and apologized for not doing so beforehand. I mean, who would blame her, right? Nobody knows of sex education here so no one talks about it till their marriage night.

After that, the days went on as usual with absolutely nothing to do except wake up, work, eat, work again or train, eat and then sleep. The upside though was that Hinami became more aware of the ecchi stuff and their night activities became more entertaining with Shun introducing new ways of making her feel pleasure.

The guests from Ris's village had all been sent back but Ria choose to stay for reasons unknown to me as Hinami backed her up. According to her, she got her mother's consent and with Hinami as her backer, I had to back down.

Minutes turned to hours, hours turned to days, days turned to weeks and weeks turned to months, and that way, 5 months passed.

On this day, Hinami looked as if she was holding something in and was looking at Shun with an expression that even he didn't understand.

Seeing that she wasn't going to say anything, he decided to break the ice and ask, "Nami desire, you've been looking at me with a look in your eyes for some time now. Want to tell me what's going on?"

"I want a baby," Hinami said in one brief short sentence that caused Shun to almost choke on his saliva.

"Wh-what?" Shun asked in shock.

"I want a child, a baby," Hinami said emphasizing it clearly.

"I know what a child is, I was ju... Wait, What? A baby? What brought about this?" Shun asked still in shock.

It's not that he doesn't want a baby or two but the method of approach was shocking, to say the least.

"Nothing brought this about, It's just that Miyako and Kanna already seem to be pregnant and I'm not. I want my child to grow up with theirs is all." Hinami said.

"Just that?" Shun asked confused.

"Yeah" Hinami nodded.

"Phew, you scared me there for a minute. Why didn't you say so earlier?" Shun asked.

"Miyako told me it was the man's job to ask for this kind of stuff," Hinami said which made Shun facepalm.

"C'mon dear, Miyako? For real? Look, I told you she was the traditional lady type of person, if you are confused about something, I'm here, hell you could have asked Kanna. I'm sure she was the one who bullied Ashura into it and not the other way." Shun said in an exasperated tone.

"Bu-but I thought this was an important decision so..." Hinami replied in a wronged tone.

"Sigh, there, there. We are husband and wife here, Nami, anything you feel confused about you come to me, the same goes for me too. Don't go asking outsiders about things that concern our lives. Don't get me wrong, I dint hate Miyako, no, hate is a strong word. I don't dislike Miyako, it's just that she's too submissive and that seems bland to me. So next time come to me" Shun said in a soothing tone while patting Hinami's head.

"Now I don't mind you being submissive in bed instead" He whispered into her ear, making Hinami blush.

"How about it? Want to give it a try right now? Maybe you could end up pregnant" He continued

"But it's daytime now" She replied in a whisper.

"Those are minor details. Nothing I can't take care of. Just give me a sign and will handle the rest" Shun said, his breath becoming hotter by the second.

"Un" She nodded and raised her head to look at Shun only to be met with a deep kiss on her lips which she reciprocated.

The kiss went from normal to deep and then sensual and before Hinami knew what was happening, they were already on the bed naked.
