Chapter 3: First Meeting

It's not something that Sasuke would do but he went in front of the boy, looked at him for some time and asked him,

"Hey. What are you doing here alone?"

The blonde boy was surprised and looked up and saw a black-haired boy looking at him. It was his first time seeing this boy. But he felt very familiar with him.

The blonde boy replied sadly, "I don't have parents and don't know why the others in the village avoid me or sometimes call me 'demon fox'."

Sasuke understands that everyone in the village avoids and bully him. He felt sad for him. But as a tsundere he absolutely can't comfort others. So, he told him,

"Is that so? I have parents but they are so busy that they don't have time for me and that's why I had to come alone. Hmm… It seems you are also enrolling in the academy today. I am going, the ceremony will start shortly."

After two or three steps Sasuke stopped walking and said,

"If you aren't coming now, you will be missing the entrance ceremony."

The blonde boy looked at the back of the boy for some time and shouted with a smile,

"Hey. Wait for me."

Now, at the entrance ceremony every new student was standing in lines and listening to the Hokage giving speech.

[A/N: I am not writing about those boring Will of Fire shit. I guess you all already know].

Sasuke found this speech to be too boring, but he was also getting annoyed by the non-stop talking of the blonde boy. Sasuke is now thinking,

'I might have made a mistake by talking to this annoying kid.'

After the Entrance Ceremony was over every student went to their classrooms. Sasuke also went to his classroom. He took the second seat in the middle row.

But the annoying fact was that that blonde brat was also in his class and talking non-stop. Sasuke just ignored this.

After some time, a shinobi came to the classroom and introduced himself.

"Hello, Class. My name is Umino Iruka. I am a chunin and I will be your homeroom teacher for the time you will be in the Ninja Academy. Now, introduced yourselves one by one."

The blonde-haired boy was the first one who jumped up to introduced himself.

"My name is Uzumaki Naruto. I will be the best ninja there is and will become the Hokage. So that everyone will respect me. Believe that."

After that some other people introduced themselves. Sasuke didn't pay any attention to them.

Now a blue haired timid girl was introducing herself.

"He... hello. My name is Hi…Hinata Hyuga. I want to be a strong Ninja, and I want to be a person who can keep her promises (looking at Sasuke)."

When Sasuke heard the name Hinata, he looked back and remembered the past incident then turned away.

It was now Sasukes turn to introduce himself.

"My name is Uchiha Sasuke. I particularly don't have any goal, but I want to be a ninja just like my big brother."

After everyone completed their introduction, Iruka said, "Good. You will be classmates for quite some time. So, try to become friends. Now we will start our first lesson."

Thus, the first lesson in the ninja academy begun. The things they taught were basics and Sasuke have already completed them at home. But he still boringly listened to the class. As this is the first day, the classes ended pretty early, and they went home.

When it was time to go home, he saw Naruto stopped his nonstop talking. Sasuke heaved a sigh of relief and went for home.

After coming home, he told his mother everything that happened and sadly asked his mother,

"Mother, does father not like me?"

At her son's question, Mikoto Uchiha become astonished and sad at the same time. She told Sasuke,

"When we are alone, all he talks is about you, Sasuke. It's just that your father is the clan head and is very busy."

Hearing this Sasuke timidly smiled a little and went to his room.

This is how Sasuke's days are passing by. At morning he goes to the ninja academy, there he takes the theory classes. There is also taijutsu, ninjutsu, shuriken classes. But they were not that helpful. He excels in everything. And also the girls of the class are too annoying, they keep staring at him all the time. And that girl 'Hinata' is still so timid.

On the other hand, Naruto is at the bottom of the class and is not good at particularly anything. He is now considering Sasuke as his rival. He is also now sitting with Shikamaru and choji in classes.
