"So, did you decide?" Alex asked, looking at Mirko.
"I... want to try it..." she replied, her voice uncertain.
Mirko knew that this would be a difficult choice. The more she thought about it, the more she wanted to stop and wait for Andrei to recover. But what if he didn't? What if he stayed in the coma indefinitely?
"I see. Don't worry, I'll keep an eye on his Spark. If something happens, I'll freeze the Elixir inside him to make sure he survives," Alex said. His words were meant to calm her, though he wasn't sure what effect it would truly have.
"I see... thank you so much." Mirko smiled weakly, realizing that Alex was trying his best.
Alex took out the Soul Elixir and gently poured it into Andrei's mouth.
"Are you ready?" he asked.
"Yes..." Mirko whispered, her heart pounding.
Alex nodded, then quickly chugged the rest of the potion himself.
