A Threat Emerged

When I got back to my room, I saw that Asaki was already in our room reading a book and when I walked in she sat down the book and looked at me.

Asaki: "So what happened?"

Rosa: "Yuri wanted to know why I was up in the tree during his fight with some guy he thought I was spying on him or stalking him."

Asaki: "Wow doesn't he do his homework??"

Rosa: "I guess not since we were taught that elf's don't let the people there tailing know they're there."

Asaki: "And you told me that the elf's love nature."

I nodded smiling at her and then we decided to go to bed since we had to get up in a few hours for class and we didn't want to be tired since we both had very strenuous classes. Then we woke up at about seven and started getting ready for our classes and then we headed out and I noticed that the girls from the restaurant were trying to avoid me. I couldn't help but smile about that and I knew that they wouldn't bother me again the only problem was that I didn't know if they'd try anything else. However, I put that at the back of my mind for now and headed off to class so I could learn everything I needed to. I loved learning about the past since the knowledge of the past made us stronger and wiser however I was all alone in my second hour. Since I hadn't made any friends in any of my other classes that I didn't have with Asaki but that made it easier to listen to the teacher and do the assignment without having to worry if my partner(s) wouldn't do their part. However, I got the feeling that if I partnered up with Asaki we'd both get the project done long before class would be over. I kept thinking about Yuri and I couldn't understand why so I figured I'd send a letter home to my mother and see if she could help me understand why this was happening. Then my third hour that I had with Asaki I talked to her about it before class started and she had no idea's as to why I couldn't get him out of my she thoughts it might be because I was mad at him still.

So, I dropped it for now and focused on our lessons learning that the elves had a very good source for our weapons and that was the reason they never broke. It was something they called Showakusei it was an asteroid that fell from the sky landing in our forests that we called Du Chikyu or The Earth. Du Chikyu was the largest forest around the world but I'm not sure about the rest of the world since I've hardly been outside the village. I was hoping we could go over what the world was like all around the world, but I guess that would have to wait for another day since class was ending. I gathered up my books and headed out and on to my fourth hour I really had to pay attention in my magic's class since we were learning about how to control our power's. I learned that I had to keep my emotions in check, or I would have a lot of problems since it could activate just from my anger over something. I also learned that the madder I got the stronger my flames would get and the bigger they would become. However, I knew that if I let my anger get away from me, I could seriously hurt someone and I didn't want that to happen to anyone again...

Rosa: "It's going to be hard to control my power's."

I said mostly to myself since I didn't have any friends in my magics class although I did notice that Yuri was in my magic's class and I didn't really like that. I was still upset with him about what he had said to me since it had really upset me to think that anyone would think that the elves would stalk someone and get caught doing it. I sighed and put my feeling's aside and headed into my fifth hour class of Reading and Writing in the Ancient Ways and found out that the elves had a different way of writing. They were very polite and had a very neat way of writing, so I tried my best to adapt to that way of writing. Then I headed off to my sixth hour class when the bell rang and then I meet up with Asaki and we headed to class. When class was just about over there was an announcement for everyone to head to the auditorium for an assembly so we all quickly changed and headed for the auditorium. We found seats together and sat down and waited for the assembly to start wondering why we were having one. Then once everyone was seated the headmaster and the teacher's walked in and the headmaster took the podium and waited for everyone to quiet down. 

Fiona: "Listen up everyone I have an urgent announcement to make it appears that we have a problem there's a clan out there that is targeting creature's like us. They have already sent us a warning and we will be on high alert so I advise no one going outside with-out a weapon or something to protect themselves with."

Guy: "What about our power's??"

Headmaster: "We do not wish to harm them we are trying to get along with the human's not destroy them."

Girl: "So were just going to let them destroy us??"

Headmaster: "No were trying to get an audience with their leader so we can stop all this fighting."

Rosa: "So were just going to sit here and let them kill our friends and family??"

A lot of people looked at me but that's what I know happened in the past with my people and I couldn't just sit there and let more of my people and friends die for no reason. There have been a lot of wars and almost all of them have involved my people and I for one was tired of sending my family into battle just to watch them die. It was hard to see everyone I loved dying on the battlefield just to send in more of them and the cycle would continue until the war was over.

Headmaster: "It shouldn't come to a war everyone and on a happier note we will be having a dance in two week's so prepare for it everyone you are all dismissed."

We all got up talking about the dance, but I couldn't stop thinking about the possibly upcoming battle and the possibility of having to watch those I care about heading into battle to keep our freedom. Asaki could tell that something was bothering me, and she waited until we were back in our room before she asked me about it, and I told her that my mother lost her big brother to the war's. I told her that I didn't want to lose anyone to battles and I told her about our love for peace but back then we loved blood. Since all we did was fight the other races and we couldn't stop fighting until we realized what we were doing. So, we stopped fighting and settled for peace and quiet so that we could wash our hands of the blood we had spilt by living for those that we had killed.

Asaki: "Wow that has to be painful no wonder you don't want a war to break out."

Rosa: "Yeah I don't want to lose those that are precious to me." 

Asaki: "Don't worry you won't lose me I promise I'll stay by your side."

Rosa: "Thanks Asaki that really means a lot to me."

Asaki: "Your welcome."

Rosa: "How about we get started on our homework and then head to bed??"

Asaki: "Sure."

So, we got started on our homework by comparing notes and helping each other when we got stuck on something and then we made sure our homework was put away before we got ready for bed. I told Asaki that I was heading to the shower's and that she could go to bed ahead of me if she wanted and then I headed off to the shower room. Once I was done with my shower I changed into my pajama's and headed back up to our room and smiled seeing Asaki asleep and then I climbed into bed, after putting my shower things away, and fell asleep.
