The two babies had already washed up. When they came to the living room, they did not see the familiar figure.
"Where is mommy?" Vicki Cassia looked from left to right, her big eyes round and confused.
Gerald looked at the closed door of the room, which explained everything.
He walked forward and knocked on the door gently. "Mommy, are you inside?"
After a while, there was no response.
The babies looked at each other and then Gerald opened the door slowly.
After entering the door, the two people looked directly at the bed.
She was still in bed.
But Wendy Cassia always got up punctually.
Vicki followed closely behind Gerald. Wendy lay on her back, mumbling something and her face was pale.
Gerald reached out his hand and touched it. He frowned and said, "Mommy has a fever."
"I'm going to find some antipyretics. You stay here with mommy." Gerald said and walked out of the room.
