In the Road Cafe.
It was afternoon tea time for socialite divas.
Jennett Baynton took a sip of coffee with a little bitterness and sweetness on the tip of his tongue, which was her favorite taste.
They gathered together and talked about nothing but clothes, jewelry and cosmetics, or some handsome man recently, and such boring topics.
Seeing the girls chatting happily, Jennett was abnormal and sat aside silently.
Someone noticed her abnormality and touched her. "What's wrong with you today? You talk most in normal times."
The picture that Louis and Wendy came to the group together in the morning came to her mind from time to time. She was full of doubts and lost interest.
Jennett shook her head and explained simply, "Nothing. I just didn't sleep well. I'm a little confused. Why hasn't Franti come so late?" She looked away.
"Isn't she always like this? She always wants to be the last one to show up."
Jennett smiled and took another sip of coffee.
