Michael stared into Tristan's eyes, ignoring the others.
"Because I'm scared. I'm afraid of what I might become if I lose myself. I'm afraid of losing everyone again. And I'm afraid of letting people go..." Michael whispered softly, looking away.
Gasp!
Michael's eyes doubled when he felt Tristan's grip on his neck tighten, forcing his head to tilt upward.
"Don't worry. It will only last a few minutes. Then you can go back to being the same old Michael," Tristan smirked.
Suddenly, Michael's entire body froze. His mouth remained open as he began to struggle weakly under Tristan's grip. The world around him started to blur as he struggled to stay conscious.
"Bastard! Let me go!" Micheal yelled.
Tristan tightened his hold, choking him further.
The world around Michael seemed to slow, the edges blurring as he strained against the pressure.
