Kidnapped
When Yan Xiaoran went back to the car, she made sure to secure her safety belt and looked at the backseat where a small child was sitting with her eyes closed.
Since it was her and Alexander's decision to adopt her to their family, Yan Xiaoran wanted to keep her eyes on the child for as long as she could. The danger surrounding her would be bad for the child and she thought that there might be someone out there who will look for the child.
Of course, it was all her speculation. However, Yan Xiaoran lived her life as if her life was at stake wherever she was hence, the act of being too cautious and wary of everything was never a new thing to her.
She drove her car for a while but she didn't go back to where they currently lived in. Yan Xiaoran instead drove her car towards a restaurant in the city. It wasn't a well-known restaurant and there doesn't seem to be customers eating inside when she stepped in.
