Looking at his status, Abraham was quite happy with himself. Even though his stats have increased by just two overall, Abraham was not worried. Right now, he was more focused on consolidating his power and eliminating his weaknesses. And now with the addition of the fire ability and mana, he was pretty confident in himself. He was sure that with some trial and error, he would be able to embed the fire attribute into his blood attack. The combination would sure be deadly.

But among all the different stats, there was only one that has remained stagnant for quite a considerable amount of time. That was the shadow ability. After all, it was maxed out as the shadow was from a level 6 ability book. If he wanted to break the upper cap, he needed level 7 or level 8. But the same thing would happen with the level 7 shadow book. At some point, it would also reach an upper cap. Only the level 8 ability did not have a specific limit. The limit was the user himself. How much MC could his body hold.

Yet, Abraham was not worried a bit. Because the next plan was exactly to solve this issue. He knew the exact place that would have the most probability of containing the level 8 shadow. Abraham was not exactly sure if this was certain as in the canon story, the place was not fully explored, but having analyzed the situation, Abraham felt it bizarre if the book would not be present.

For Abraham, the most difficult thing till now was adding members to his Darcul blooded family. The only plan that Abraham had made from the beginning to tackle this issue was by having some people learn about Qi. It was true that Abraham wanted to help people or sometimes his teacher habit would kick in, but Abraham always had to keep them as a plan to increase his blooded family.

That was exactly what he did with Andrew and Pele. By helping them, both felt in debt to Abraham and when the latter proposed to transform them into something more powerful, they were not able to refuse.

It may look like Abraham have manipulated them, and maybe it was true but it was a win-win situation for them. And if ever they refused the blood ritual, Abraham would never force them or make them repay for teaching them about Qi.

"I already have four out of ten, and there are two people at the portal station camp that I have taught them. If both of them accept, then I will have to search for 4 more people.

Hmm, who can I find more? I have taught Tom and Emily Green but I can't have them go through the blood ritual or else they will lose their current Technology Communication Ability. There is my brother Albert and sister-in-law Ginny but I don't know, maybe I can ask them. Oh, then there is Quinn. I can transform him and his destiny would be back like in the canon, but there is just the worry of the sun weakness. Unlike the other, he would not be able to use the second stage of Qi to protect his body now. The only thing I can think of is by using the ring to protect the sunlight."

In case none of them accept the blood ritual, he would need to take drastic measures. There were the three gang members that he previously caught, one was killed after transforming into the bloodsucker, and the other two were released. Abraham did not mind turning these two forcefully if the situation required.

Robert and Gwen were fighting side by side with a little look of worry in their eyes. It was the first time that they were going against an emperor-tier beast. But that was not their main worried as they were individually on par with an emperor-tier beast. The thing that was the beast was not alone, they were fighting 4 against 9 with Pele and Happy by their side.

There was 1 emperor tier, 1 advanced, 3 intermediate, and 4 basic tier beasts.

Robert shouted at Gwen."Help the other, I will take the emperor beast on my own."

The fight started, but even though Gwen was strong, she could not take on more than 3 beasts at the same time. The advanced tier beast with two intermediate by its side was trying to overpower Gwen by attacking from different sides.

Sensing that Happy was stronger than Pele, the remaining 5 beasts divided the attack accordingly. One intermediate and two basic got after Happy while two basic tier beasts moved to Pele's location.

After some minutes, they were still struggling to get the upper hand against the beast. In fact, the more time went on, the more injuries the group received. While Robert and Gwen were faring quite well, the same can't be said about Pele and Happy.

Then like heaven was bestowing them with a helping hand, the group saw fire literally raining from the sky and falling directly on all the nine beasts. They wiggled in pain, but like the group wanted, their wailing did not go on for long.

In their mind, they were grateful for such an attack wherever it came from, but they never expected it to directly kill the beasts.

But as they saw the fire extinguished and prepared to fight again, there was not a single beast in front of them. What remained in their place was a beast crystal on the ground.

Perplexed by the situation, Gwen said "What, how is such a fire so powerful that not even the emperor beast was able to escape such destiny. Only a demon-tier beast..." but when she came to the conclusion that a demon-tier beast could produce such an attack, she came to a conclusion.

There was currently a fire demon tier beast not far from them. If it was able to attack here, that only meant one thing.

Everybody immediately understood Gwen's process of thought. Yet they could not accept such a possibility. Abraham loosing against the demon and now the beast was coming for them.

Slowly turning his head, Robert looked back to where Abraham and the demon beast were fighting, but the shadow dome was gone.

Then he noticed a presence coming from the sky.

The creature landed with a boom, causing the ground to shatter beneath its location. In its humanoid form, the creature was burning like a flame torch.
