35. Second Planet

"Remember to keep what I have taught you a secret. You have the ability now to make a change in your life, now it all depends on what you do next."

The morning was already upon them as Abraham was preparing to leave Julia.

When she woke up, Abraham explained to her the first stage of Qi.

"Can't you take me with you? I will repay you in any way possible. I will do all your basic work. Please take me." Julia pleaded with Abraham to take her away.

"You are mistaken, Julia. I didn't save your life so you will repay me. Also, the reality is that you will become a burden to me. If you one day want to be by my side then you need to earn that place. We are now living in the survival of the fittest world. Become a better version of yourself. Ok?"

Abraham then walked out of the tent.

"I promise I will get stronger. I will make good use of the second life you have given me."

Abraham could hear the words of Julia even though she had whispered those words.

Both Robert and Gwen had just entered the traveler's building. There was a large group of people gathered today. They were surrounding a podium on which a huge man was seen giving a speech.

Searching among the crowd, none of the two could find Abraham's presence. For an instance, both thought that it was normal that Abraham would skip them after such a first strange encounter. As they were joining the crowd, they saw at another corner of the room a man waving at them.

On seeing the man who was approaching, both of them had bright smiles on their face.

After Abraham met them, the three went towards the crowd to join the group going to planet Uaneth. The man on the podium was motivating the travelers with his speech and the reward if they successfully eliminate the dalki settlement. Abraham noticed many people having awe of respect for the man as they were listening carefully. Instead of using his Inspect skill, Abraham asked Robert who the person was.

"What, you do not know this person. He is the commander of the military, known as Julius; the chosen one. His strength is on par with the leaders of the big three. He was also among the few survivors of the greatest threat three years ago after fighting against a spike-three dalki."

Robert like a fanatic kept on recounting all the achievements done by Julius.

Abraham also learned that Julius had a level 8 super strength ability. He also had a full beast armor at the level of legendary.

After his speech was done, Julius left the podium and the group of travelers went to the portal station. Abraham didn't miss the chance to inspect the magic circle on the portal before going through. The details were added to his system.

One after the other, all 50 travelers got into the portal. Abraham had the same feeling of space wrapping around him and the next instant he was standing on another planet.

The scene was completely different from what Abraham expected. He was in the open air and unlike a red portal, a green and orange portal would teleport next to the source portal. All the travelers were standing on a platform with the portal behind their backs. All around them, they could see people walking around with buildings all around. If people were not walking with their weapons, it would have looked like a normal village from the earth.

Unlike earth, the sky had a greenish color with a single sun up in the sky. The temperature was good neither too hot nor too cold.

Abraham was still amazed by all the happening around him. In his past life, people were still trying to go back to the moon or making plans to colonize planet Mars. But here he was, standing on a second foreign planet.

"War does push humans limits and bring new evolution." The system gave its thought.

"Hoooo." a sudden beast cry brought everyone's attention to a particular spot on the platform.

A monkey-like beast was standing quietly after releasing the cry. To its right, a human was standing proudly.

On seeing the man, many of the travelers that got into a fighting stance due to the cry became relaxed.

After all, the woman was from one of the big four families. The Bree family. They had the ability to control beasts and it was the only family among the big four that had a woman as the leader.

After that, the man spoke to Abraham and the other travelers explaining the different locations and situations around the settlement.

When he was done, everyone started moving. Some explored the settlement while others went into their rooms to relax. Robert and Gwen asked Abraham if he wanted to explore the settlement with them.

"I have a meeting with someone else. Maybe another time." Abraham separate from them and started walking towards the highest building. The Green told him that they were residing behind the tallest tower.

Abraham took his time while walking, admiring his surrounding, and listening to people chatting.

When he reached the tower, he saw a human at the very top of the tower. Walking behind the tower he found a very small building. At first, he was not sure if that was the correct location but as there was no other building, he went and gave a knock.

The door opened and standing behind was a man.

"Welcome Abraham" Tom Green greeted Abraham and informed him that his wife was in the middle of an experiment and could not come to welcome him.

Tom guided Abraham to the next room and after Tom closed the door, the entire room started to descend.

The small building was just a disguise as the whole lab was placed underground. On the way, Tom started explaining their different experiment and the reason behind their moving to this planet.

Some weeks back, a group of travelers discovered a new type of crystal on the planet Uaneth. When they came into contact, the crystal reacted to the touch and exploded. Most of the travelers died during that moment. The one that escape, run back to earth and informed the military about their discovery. That was when the Green family was called to help the military to analyze these exploding crystals.

Apart from the normal beast crystals and the newly exploding one, another type of crystal was already discovered in the past. Those apart from the normal beast crystal were known as active crystals.

It also started when the Earthborn group(military) was trying to find a safer way to gather crystals instead of fighting beasts. They started mining the beast planet in search of crystal and it was successful. That was when they discovered the first active crystal. It was an enhancement crystal. Like beast crystals, they too have different tiers, but it was harder to tell unless you were holding one.

An enhancement crystal like the name suggests would give a boost in MC cells as long as one was still holding the Crystal.

The room slowly came to a still and when Tom opened the door, Abraham found himself in a lab.
