15. Training

As soon as Abraham got home, the first thing he did was take a shower. Then he did his daily drinking water quest and immediately jumped on the bed. Even though he was used to staying on the street in his past life, the feeling of sleeping inside his home and on a comfy mattress was heavenly.

In no time he fell asleep again and woke around noon.

He decided to have a day of rest and only did a light Qi meditation.

He spent the rest of the day planning his next course of action. It was time to move from the lesser district to a bigger battlefield.

On the next day, Abraham when to the ruin of a nearby old village. With the war against the dalki, the village was completely destroyed and since then no human returned. It was left with destruction everywhere and thanks to no human interaction, the earth was able to sprout plants all around.

It was the perfect place for Abraham away from anyone's sight.

He first explored the village trying to imagine what it looked like. In some places, human bones were on the ground. Deformed vehicles were left on the street.

after waking around, Abraham found a spot on the ground with grass. The great smell of vegetation brought a calming effect on Abraham's mind. It was the perfect state to train his energy.

Looking inside himself, Abraham found the ball of green energy mixed with red. Hovering around were both the external Qi and blood absorbed. The energies were fierce trying to escape the body.

Abraham Slowly started assimilating the foreign energy.

Sweat was forming on the forehead of Abraham. The process required extreme confrontation.

As Abraham had ten years of experience in manipulating Qi, the process was successful.

Occasionally when Abraham was absorbing the Qi, he would also drink some blood from the blood bank. The Qi was balancing the blood energy and vice versa.

Next Abraham moved on activating every cell in his body using the energy. The cells kept on multiplying until the energy didn't have any more effect.

He then began his training for the second stage. This time with his gigantic energy he coated his body and kept on adding layers. After they were moving that three centimeters thick he found it impossible to add any more energy.

following that, he relaxed the energy and turned it into a gas state. Although this method reduced the defense, it made Abraham aware of his surrounding.

With the invisible Qi around, he could know when someone entered the area around him.

Afterward, he decided to train his blood energy. For that, he wanted to try a set of activities from manipulation to output control.

His first action was to try to form a blood drop above his fingertip. The action was simple but even after a few tries, Abraham was unsuccessful.

Compare to his Qi, this was the first time Abraham was training his blood energy. Abraham knew from the novel that control over blood energy was difficult for many vampires and it was only possible among the strongest.

Thus Abraham was not discouraged and preserved even after so many failed attempts.

Suddenly an idea popped inside Abraham's mind. He activated his blood swipe skill. Meanwhile, he looked inside his body at how the energy was moving to his hand before the swipe was done. He did the skill a few more times to familiarize himself.

Abraham tried again forming a drop of blood. This time he followed the same method as the blood swipe did. After a few more tries, a drop of blood was hovering above Abraham's index finger. He was successful.

His first step in controlling the blood energy was completed. But Abraham knew he had a long way to go. Right now, if he tried to move the drop of blood, it would be scattered on the spot.

As for physical training, he was going to train his body to adapt with less Qi thus increasing his stats.

It was going to be a long week for Abraham.

The sun was shining upon the lesser district. Everyone was seen as busy with their own affair. It has been a week since the battle of gangs happened. The day after the fight, the military came. Someone informed them about the dead bodies lying. Fearing a spread of disease, they came and cleaned up the district. Order was also brought among the habitats. The war against the dalki was still going. More people were needed on the frontline and here in the district, even level 5 had lost their lives fighting among themselves.

The military decided to send a few personnel every week to check the condition in the district and to bring law and order.

Abraham was happy to see the change that he brought to the district. After training for a week, he decided to visit and check the district for the last time before moving on. He walked toward the playground and he found the boy he was looking for. Pele was doing a pull-up from the branch of a tree. It seemed like Pele was taking Abraham's word very seriously.

Smiling, Abraham walked to him and called him out. Seeing Abraham, he quickly let go of his grip and came running. He was full of sweat and his breathing was heavy.

"Hello Pele, you seem to be doing well. I came today as promised to give you a gift for your hard work if you would please sit down."

"I'm going to inject an energy inside you, I wish that you concentrate and feel what going on inside your body." Abraham placed his hand on Pele's back and transfer a part of his Qi inside Pele. He made sure to separate the Qi energy from the blood energy before starting.

Pele could feel a glowing feeling traveling from down his head into his body like a little ball of bright light. It carried on moving through his body until it eventually reached his belly. That's when the size of the energy started to grow.

Abraham started to move the energy around so Pele could get the hang of the feeling. He moved it from his hand to the edge of his fingertips all the way to his toes and continued to move it around his body.

"I want you to remember this feeling". Abraham removed the Qi from Pele's body and let him meditate.

At the same time, Abraham reviewed his status change.

Through the Qi training, Abraham's hp raised by 15, and all his stats increased to 20.

Abraham also absorbed a total of 30 unique blood, 10 for each stat.

After a week his updated status was as follows:

"What a strange energy, is that an ability?" all excited Pele broke Abraham's train of thought. Abraham proceeded to explain the Qi energy to Pele and gave the full training of stage one to him.

"If one day you feel strong enough, relocate to a better place. You have a good heart, I know everywhere you go, people will receive your help. Maybe one day we will meet again or maybe I will be the one who comes searching for you. For now, it is time to say goodbye Pele". Abraham could notice a sad emotion on Pele's face.

After saying his last words to Pele, Abraham returned to his apartment. He immediately turn on his computer and went online. He looked for a contact number and clicked on it.

"My name is Abraham Eno. I need your help. Can you send transport for me to have a meeting with you?" While recording his video message, Abraham made sure to activate his glowing red eyes.
