49 The Strange Leander and Suprise

Faye's POV

Leander asked me to take a seat in the Piazza Lounge, and he went to order food for me.

As for Sibyl, she was particularly interested in a magic booth on the way and stayed there to watch it.

I found a seat. It's not easy because there are so many people around, some in huge puffy skirts or doll clothes that could occupy at least two seats.

I sat there in a daze, guessing who that woman had come for Liam.

Liam doesn't have many women around him (unlike Leander) except his ex-girlfriend Christine.

I don't know Christine that well. Is she really back for Liam?

The idea made me uneasy. There's a voice that I don't want to face. If we're not werewolves, then I'm a shameful third party. So I never asked about Liam and his ex-girlfriend. I just naturally accepted my relationship with Liam.

Leander walks slowly from a distance, holding a box of food. When I saw him, my random thoughts drifted away.

“What did you buy?”
