They stood there quietly for a while, it was kind of awkward because no one has said a word.

Ku Shuchang decided to break the silence. "So are you heading to your dormitory now or we could take a stroll to the café."

Xiao Li sighed and turned to face him. "That would be nice but I am really feeling sleepy and also tired from the test so am sorry."

Ku Shuchang face fell. "Okay, you need to rest anyways."

Xiao Li saw how disappointed he looked and wanted to cheer him up. "Okay how about we go there tomorrow after class. It's my treat."

Xiao Li immediately regretted what she said.

How would she pay for the orders if she was broke.

Oh no, she wish she could take it back.

Ku Shuchang smiled immediately he heard that. "Okay we'll meet there tomorrow but there's no way I'll let a lady pay the bills on our first day eating together."

Xiao Li was really relieved but resisted the urge to show it. "Oh okay, if you say so."

"It will be your treat the next time we'll eat together."
