'If you stay like this your indecisiveness will cost someone else to lose their life, so think about it properly, you can't act like a kid all of the time,' Jin-woo's words rang in her head, he talked to her when he came to meet Queresha although his words were harsh it made sense.
Jin-ah looked at Alea and she could see Haru's face in place of Alea's. What if my mistake leads to him being killed? No what if my mistake leads others to their death?
The faces of Hae-in, Kanae, and Queresha came to her mind and not only them even Alea was an important friend to her but now because of her mistake, this has happened.
The question stuck in her mind and...
Alea sensed someone attacking her from behind but she wasn't fast enough to stop it, she was about to use the protection necklace given to her by Queresha.
But before she could use the necklace she stopped since the attacker stopped.
Alea quickly reacted and jumped forward before turning back to look at an ice statue that was crumbling down.
Alea quickly looked at Jin-ah and saw her panting while she looked at the ice statue.
'She really did it,' Alea was shocked to see that Jin-ah killed the one who was attacking her.
Jin-ah looked like she was about to cry but she held it in, it wasn't going to help her condition. It was nauseous and she felt like throwing up she had never faced a humanoid monster even while leveling up, it was clear that Haru only chose monster-type beasts for her dungeon and this once again reminded her of how much he pampered her.
"Kill them, quick quick,"
"Faster that way look there are only two of them,"
Nearly a hundred asuras headed towards Jin-ah and Alea.
'Damn they won't even let me rest, I guess this is what a real fight is like,' Jin-ah thought and raised her staff ready to attack but....
"My My, Your subordinates sure are lively aren't they?" With a clear voice ringing on the battlefield, everyone stopped.
They didn't stop because they wanted to but because of the suffocating feeling that came with the voice. Everyone felt like the reaper was standing behind them ready to end them if they don't stop.
Some of the clan leaders looked over and saw a man with long reddish black hair looking at all of them with two others.
One of them was Queresha who took away Kazees and the other….
"L-Lord Indrath," the clan leader of Avignis stuttered looking at the Kazees who looked seriously injured but was still standing straight.
The Asuras were perplexed right now.
What happened?
Why is Lord Indrath standing there?
To know about this we will have to a little back in time.
In the middle of the continent of Alacrya, where the tower of Agrona Taegrin Caelum was, one could see a man walking inside the hallway making his way to the top of the tower.
The man was of course Haru who suddenly stopped and looked around the hallway nodding his head with a serious expression.
"Damn I am lost," Haru spoke with a serious tone.
And then he vanished from his place and appeared in front of a large gate.
[Should've done it from the beginning and can you even get lost in the first place?] Kurumi sighed in Haru's mind.
"I always wanted to say that," Haru said with a smile making Kurumi sigh.
But suddenly the whole tower shook slightly; no it would be proper to say that the whole continent of Alacrya must've felt that.
"Looks like they got to work, so I should stop being lazy as well," Haru looked towards the west before facing the door that looked really sturdy.
BOOOOOOOOOOOM*
Haru kicked the door lightly turning it into scrap pieces. He looked around the lavishly decorated hall while walking towards the throne on which a blurry figure could be seen.
"As expected you've made your way here," Agrona's voice rang out in the room.
"It is too bad you aren't here though," Haru smiled looking at the blurry figure which was clearing a projection.
"There is no way I would wait here for you," Agrona's voice came.
'It is like having a video call but with a hologram,' Haru thought while looking around.
"Yeah, but you should know that you can run away from me," Haru said while looking at the projection.
"That is true, but I have found a solution for that you see, the moment you stepped in this place, you signed your death warrant," Agrona's mocking voice came and the tower started shaking.
Some distance away from the Central region Agrona was standing with his army looking at the tower moving up in the air. It stopped when it was about 200 meters in the sky.
"It is a shame that this is the only way to deal with you," Agrona spoke and...
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*
A very loud explosion happened blowing up the tower and sending shockwaves all around the place the whole central region was in tatters with broken ground that was sunken below even, most of Agrona's army was knocked off their feet because of the shock that traveled to them.
The explosion didn't only destroy the central region but the violent shockwaves shook the entire Alacryan continent sending the surrounding sea into chaos.
Buildings and ground were broken all over the continent with many people getting caught up in the aftermath.
"An attack like that can easily destroy this continent if perform on the ground, But that is beside the point," Agrona smiled seeing that things were going correctly. The tower itself was a weapon and had an Aether artifact that powered the whole structure it also had this self-defense mechanism.
Once activated it can destroy the whole continent along with the people inside while twisting space in a 10 km radius which can cause fatal damage and would likely kill the one who was caught up in the explosion.
Agrona went all out by using Aether artifacts to make sure that Haru can't teleport away from the place.
'Those ancient mages sure made some interesting things,' Agrona thought as he saw that the quaking has come to a halt which signaled that it was time for the next move.
"Everyone forward, Find that man alive or dead," Agrona ordered his army which spanned over 10,000 soldiers it consisted of the Basilisk race members that came with him from Epheotus and the half-bloods that were created by interbreeding with the lessers in Alacrya.
At his order, everyone ran toward where the spire used to be.
This was the army he had created to deal with the Asuras although the 'legacy' was missing but even then it was quite a force to be reckoned with, But never did he think that he would have to use them against one person.
Agrona knew that there was a chance that Haru was still alive after that explosion so he had to make sure to get him now since he is at his weakest.
'Although my plans were thrown off because of him, Today I will not only deal with Haru but also the Asuras who would be weakened after fighting those women,' Agrona thought with a smile he was only a step away from fulfilling his dream and he would have no one that could go against him after today.
With all those thoughts the army and Agrona appeared a little distance away from the spire. The whole area was still clouded with dust and smoke there was no sight of anyone here, But as soon as Agrona appeared a lazy voice rang out.
"So you finally came, Man, I was nearly falling asleep here," Haru said while looking at Agrona and rubbing his eyes.
"Y-You how did you not get injured by the explosion?" Agrona was horrified and rightfully so since Haru looked completely alright after being hit by an attack that could destroy a continent, aside from his shirt's ruffled sleeve Haru didn't even look the slightest bit dirty.
"Why are you surprised? Yo-Cough* Damn, this smoke is doing me more damage than that attack," Haru coughed as the smoke went in his nose while he swung his hand to blow away the smoke cloud.
"..." Agrona and his army of 10,000 haven't heard bullshit like this before.
How is this possible? You are telling us that the smoke in the air is more damaging than the attack that could've wiped out the continent?
