Gloria sighed with resignation. "You have your own work. You don’t have to come company me. Though I am tied to Jordy on this business trip, I’m sure he would protect me because he needs to make sure the company benefits."

"I know. But I really want to come here for a relaxing trip. And it is a coincidence that you are here as well. That way, when you are not busy, we can walk around together."

Nydia talked as if she was enthusiastic about her trip here. But Gloria knew her friend deeply. Even through Nydia’s eyes, Gloria could see through her heart. She knew Nydia was quite reluctant to come except that she wanted to accompany her.

She knew that Nydia was reluctant not because of Gloria, but because of something else.

Before Gloria could continue, Nydia looked at her and asked, "Gloria, which room are you in? Can I move in with you?"
