Within a second, because Laili was quite close to me, I was able to grab onto her neck without her being able to react in time. She was distracted at the thought of what her superiors would do to her too, hence why, she was completely defenseless to my sudden offense.

"Chaos breaker..." I uttered, and at the same time, I lifted the body of Laili while keeping eye contact.

Not going to lie, but I felt really strong. Like, how am I so strong? It just didn't make any sense to me.

In order for it to make sense to me, I had no choice but to check what level my body is currently at. Of course though, I made sure to get my fill of life force first.

It seems that she said those words because I had a slight smile visible on my face. There was a perfect and completely explanatory reason as to why I was smiling though. So, no, I'm not crazy.

"Hmm… I didn't know you could beg. I like it. Good… Good…" I didn't try to correct her words. Instead, I told her words that could tell her that I wasn't crazy.

Also, I had already stopped absorbing her life force, so, yeah… She was a bit too late on telling me to stop.

Well, anyway… Since I already had what I needed, I no longer held her within my grasp.

*Cough* *Cough* Laili coughed again, and this time, because I released her, she was able to hold her own throat as she coughed.

Right now, she looked much older than before. Her skin was dehydrated, she had lost a lot of hair, and surely, the beauty that she had before, was no longer there. It's like she suddenly got a critical stage of cancer or something worse. Yes, she looks that bad…

"You haven't gone insane? Why then?" Laili proceeded to ask me when her throat was no longer as red as it used to be a few seconds ago. Based on the look that she gave me while saying those words of hers, she seemed to be both confused and concerned. Anyone would be if they randomly got attacked, after all…

"Didn't I give you an explanation already?" I simply answered.

Upon hearing my answer, Laili took a few seconds to process what I just said. After realizing what I meant with my words, her facial expression finally changed into that of realization. Not the good one of course, but one that is mixed with fear.

Yes, she fears me now. Her body is trembling. She's shaking, and if she could, she would've probably peed herself already.

"Please. I'm sorry. I don't know if I'm wrong or not, but please! Can't you spare me for something so small?!" Laili cried out loud. At the moment, she looked no different from a grandmother that was begging for her grandsons to be forgiven.

The thing is, she is seeing me like a villain! She's literally putting me in a bad light right now.

Well… If she sees me like that, why don't I play the role? Hehehe… It's gonna be a fun way to get my revenge, won't it… You know me… I'm the type of person that likes to damage someone mentally instead of physically, for the sake of revenge… Kekeke…

"Hahaha!" I laughed out loud like the villain that she wants me to be. That's all though. I'm not going to do anything more absurd than that. It's a waste of time, and, I'm also the kindest person ever alive. So, yeah…

"You call me the idiot, when you're clearly the real idiot…" I continued to speak in a villainous-like tone, but this time, if listened to carefully, my words clearly meant nothing threatening.

"Huh?" Of course, Laili couldn't understand the meaning behind my words. Or, perhaps she was simply being considerate about her life. Her begging me when I had clearly released her from my grip, and lastly, her not understanding me with what I meant with her being the real idiot. Yeah… The reason why she wasn't making any assumptions, is exactly because she didn't want to get killed.

"Demonic cultivation…" I uttered after a long pause. The way I said those two last words of course, sounded very mysterious and scary. I had to add some emotion to the meaning behind demonic cultivation after all, even though it's just some bullsh*t that I just came up with.
