***ADDIE'S POV***
After meeting with those outside of Sassy's village, we flew to her home. She and her family were nobles, but they weren't in the city. They ran a small fishing village on the edge of a massive lake. They were nice people, and everyone seemed to like them. I loved watching her parents walk through the town toward the carriage. Everyone waved, smiled, and showed their appreciation and love. I knew this town, at least, was a place of peace.
This was the type of thing I wanted to see all over the world. Not just in a random little town here and there. I wanted to see this level of respect and love for all people.
"Addie!" Sassy called out to me as she ran toward the carriage. "I missed you." She threw her arms around me and hugged me tightly.
"I missed you too, Sassy." I squeezed her back. "I have news for you." Winking at her, I made her extremely curious. "Just wait, I will tell you later."
