Even if writting of the first chapters was iffy and later its become better. First chapters show mc that I could believe, that's wouldn't be a quivering pussy with girls and could take what he wants. Exactly what's netori about...

Conclusion. I wouldn't even mind author lack of knowledge of anime that he used. Because novel should be about stealing girls and making harem. But hey, apparently that's a lie... I am not even angry, just disappointed.
