"What went on?"
Jody couldn't hide her worry when she saw the bone sticking out of Zev's arm. She did not know how to deal with Zev.
"We fought Rydel..." Loel said.
Jody's eyes got huge. "W-what?" She was shocked by what Loel said. "Why? How? Is he the person you're with, love? The one attacking at ta woods?"
Zev said, "We faced each other and fought."
"Oh, my god..." Jody said. Jody momentarily looked at Zev's arm, then grabbed her boyfriend by both cheeks and kissed him.
