Trust His Beta

When Zev went to the room, he found Liza frowning at Jody. Zev immediately approached the bed.

"How is she?" Zev took a look at the bed. Jody was soundly sleeping, and her brow was covered with plaster.

"Her fever went down after taking medicine," Liza said.

"Thank you, Liza. You can go out now," said Zev.

Liza immediately walked out of the room. Zev took a deep breath before going into the bathroom to shower. As he soaped his body, he remembered Jody's words before she passed out.

'What is his plan? Is it true that he believes we are not what he seeks? Does he know who the hybrid is and who the Alpha is? Who is Rydel, really?'

Zev breathed, then closed his eyes as he savored the cold water from the shower.

When he got out of the shower, Jody was still asleep. He felt the woman's forehead with his palm and noticed her fever had gone down. Zev immediately left the room and found Loel in the living room. He frowned when he saw him.
