The Mating Season (The Aura)

"What? Will you gaze at me or respond to my question?"

Jody exclaimed when she heard Zev's voice. She abruptly returned to her senses. She didn't know what to say to Zev. Zev took another step closer to her, his stare never leaving hers.

When Zev approaches Jody, nothing happens; the color of her aura remains unchanged, showing that Jody's emotions have nothing to do with it. Zev took hold of his chin.

Jody was staring at him.

"You looked cute," Jody commented. She turned and proceeded towards that area of the cave.

"So I'm cute in your eyes now?" Zev grinned as she followed Jody.

"I will confess that you are usually attractive. That's why many girls are interested in you since you're..." Jody turned to face Zev. "One of a kind."

"All right, what you're saying makes sense, but it isn't sweet enough to make me fall in love with you."
