Everyone was standing before Jody's fence, where big logs had been put down to cover the yard. Solar lights also surrounded it, so the whole yard was bright. Solar is why the house stays bright even when no one is home.

"What did you do with the log? Did you cut down a mountain tree?"

"Of course not. Because of the weredragons, those trees fell. So that we don't lose a tree in the mountains, we replace every one that a weredragon hurts," said Jack.

"Wow, you guys know how to get along."

"We are."

Cassy looked back. Also bright was the house next to them. Even though there are neighbors, they are still quite far away, and Jody's father bought a lot of land.

"Looks like we're getting here to Rivendell Jody," Cassy said, looking at Jody.

"Really? When you saw a weredragon earlier, didn't it scare you?" Jody asked.
