My Movie Queen: Chapter 109

"If it won't cause you any trouble, then I will inform Melody now," Yanna said casually, but Vanessa could still detect a hint of excitement in her voice.

Yanna reached for her phone, eager to share the news with Melody. However, just as she was about to dial Melody's number, a sudden knock interrupted her.

"Who could it be?" Yanna wondered aloud, her curiosity piqued.

"Maybe it's Melody," Vanessa suggested with a playful tone.

Yanna stood up and made her way towards the door, a sense of anticipation building within her. As she swung open the door, a wide smile greeted her. It was Fiona, radiating joy and happiness. Surprised by the unexpected visitor, Yanna momentarily shut the door, then slowly reopened it to make sure she wasn't imagining things.

"What's up with you coming here?" Yanna asked, her tone curious yet slightly cautious.

Fiona's smile widened, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Nothing special, just... hmm... hehe," she replied, her voice filled with playful mystery.

Yanna's curiosity grew, but she couldn't help but feel a tinge of annoyance. "Don't give me that kind of smile. I'm not interested to know," she said, closing the door slightly.

But Fiona wasn't deterred. "Wait, let me in. Melody is coming later, right?" she asked, her voice filled with anticipation.

Yanna hesitated for a moment, then reluctantly opened the door wider. "Yes, and?" she replied, her curiosity getting the better of her.

"Alright, fine. Since you're my friend, I will tell you," Fiona said, leaning closer to Yanna's ear. She whispered, "Melody and I are now official."

Yanna's mouth dropped open in shock, just in time to see Melody walking towards them from behind Fiona. Her eyes darted back and forth between Fiona and Melody, her surprise evident.

Fiona noticed Yanna's line of sight and turned to look behind her. She caught sight of Melody and smiled, a blush creeping onto her cheeks.

Melody smoothly reached out and held Fiona's hand in front of Yanna. "Good morning," she greeted, her voice warm and genuine.

Yanna was taken aback by Melody's boldness. She hadn't expected her to be the type of person who wouldn't hide or hesitate to show her relationship. It was a pleasant surprise.

A mix of emotions filled the air — surprise, happiness, and a touch of awkwardness. Yanna couldn't help but feel a sense of joy for her friends. She smiled warmly at the couple.

"Congratulations," Vanessa greeted as she looked at the three people at the door. She crossed her arms and continued, "Come in."

The three of them entered the room, with Melody and Vanessa engaging in conversation. Yanna offered both Vanessa and Melody some water, but Fiona frowned.

"Yanna," Fiona called out, catching Yanna's attention.

Yanna looked at Fiona, waiting for her to continue.

"I will take care of Melody. You just need to focus on Vanessa. And remember, even with other people, set boundaries. Otherwise, Vanessa might get hurt if you treat others the same way you treat her. Just some advice," Fiona advised.

Yanna pondered Fiona's words and nodded, observing Vanessa and Melody as they talked.

"Fiona is right. Vanessa is my wife now, and I shouldn't take her kindness and understanding for granted," Yanna thought to herself. Without thinking, she walked behind Vanessa and hugged her from behind.

The room fell silent, with Fiona, Melody, and even Vanessa pausing in their activities.

Vanessa was taken aback by the sudden embrace but noticed that Fiona had said something to Yanna. Vanessa and Fiona made eye contact and somehow understood each other's unspoken message.

"You should thank me," Fiona's eyes seemed to say.

"Good," Vanessa's eyes responded.

Vanessa smiled and gently patted Yanna's arm, then affectionately asked, "What's wrong, honey?"

"Nothing. Are you done talking? You should rest a bit more," Yanna replied, not letting go of her embrace.

"Okay, we're done talking. We'll go to the company this afternoon. Let's go rest," Vanessa said, pulling Yanna along.

Vanessa gave Fiona a wink as a sign, and then the two of them headed straight to their room.

Melody who has no idea what happened look at Fiona with confusion

" What happened just now?"

" I don't know either," fiona responded to Melody
